  1. I wonder if because of all the injuries this season so far and the changes in how teams do business that they (or we) are being overly cautious now.
  2. Not many know this but the urban word often (mis)spelled a’ight is actually spelled eyeict.
  3. Agree with every word of that. My point was the pick of nits with JT’s pick of nits. I have no problem with him criticizing good plays the way he did if he provides sound reasoning and if he also does a lot of superlativing, which he repeatedly did. Not to mention that his kind of free 30 minute in depth analysis on the internet is fantastic for us. And he does it well. I took major issue with 2-3 of his criticisms myself. But overall that was great free stuff.
  4. While Dodson clearly outplayed Klein, and I would want him in the game instead of Klein, too, we got rocked way more over the middle than we did to the sidelines. It wasn't always or even often Dodson's fault. But Tre's length and coverage ability covers up that problem a lot more than Milano on the outside does. I think we need Tre back quicker.
  5. Thanks so much for that, it was terrific. JT does an amazing job on these for both casual and serious fans. Great stuff. I think he knows that and is just highly critical of every play in its own existence. If he was always finding fault that would be different. But i would bet anything that this is how Josh and Daboll and Dorsey are looking at every play in the film study. And I didn't agree with JT on all of his analysis either.
  6. Because shamelessly lying to protect your own guilty ass when you hurt another guy's livelihood and career is just the right and only thing to do in this situation.
  7. Can you imagine what the board would be like if that same thing happened when Tyrod was here? I can't.
  8. Yep. Although, that said, NFL teams really gotta stop that "Aha! Got ya to look!" game they play behind doctors right before they inject shots.
  9. Maybe Tyrod was just trying to elude a direct hit. That’s his best quality as a QB.
  10. At first I thought that strange. But protecting the shoulder makes sense. The hamstring they are not going to put him into something he’s not ready for. Doubt it means much in who is closer to playing
  11. Very likely. McD also said that he hasn’t seen either of them since early last weekend and got reports from trainers but isn’t going to make any comment let alone determination about either until he sees them in practice himself. He went out of his way to say I’m not being coy I really don’t know.
  12. Forty years from now, sitting around the Thanksgiving dinner table, Grandpa Taylor says, “And then I was Wally Pipped and couldn’t play because my own team doctor punctured my lung!” And even his grandkids are rolling their eyes and saying to each other can you believe the excuses they make for this dude?
  13. Not protecting a LB on the four PS slots after bringing up Lacey for the game was a very good sign for them.
  14. Stats are pliable. Didn’t the Bills have four kneel down plays of -1 at the end of games already? It cuts their average yards per play on offense three tenths just for that. From 6.6 to 6.9
  15. One of the truly greats. Don’t recall anyone who ran like him. RIP Mr. Sayers. “I love you, Brian Piccolo.”
  16. Horribly Harried? He just looks okay to me. I imagine it will take some time to get back to full strength.
  17. I’m late to this discussion. I agree with Simon on the lunge with the shoulder and it was a penalty based on the rules of a blindside block. I’m unclear as to why it is officially a blindside block in the first place though, the way both players were facing.
  18. Hadn’t thought of that. Yeah, Fitz will likely make a tremendous analyst if he chooses to go that route. He was great. A lot of those completions over the middle were not easy passes.
  19. Ha. Just posted that. Can't wait to watch this snarknado.
  20. Yeah should be fun. Diggs is so much fun to watch. A quick search showed they likely played once, when Ramsey was a rook. The Vikings won. Diggs had 3-55 including a 45 yarder. Not sure about the coverages though.
  21. IIRC he already has said that Josh is good, after his trashing of him. I actually like Ramsey. I think he just says stuff to rile up his opponents and get them off their game as opposed to really believing it. I'm paraphrasing but I recall reading something about him when in college he used to search for the social media of the girlfriends of the quarterbacks he was about to face, and harass them on twitter and Facebook, etc, the week before the game. They would report back to their QB bfs who got fuming mad and threatened revenge, but Ramsey just used it to his advantage to get them off their game. Then when he got to the NFL he stopped doing it because he said these crazy dudes got wives and they will shoot you if you do stuff like that to them. I thought that was hilarious.
  22. Thanks, man. I worried that I went a little overboard. It's unpossible not to appreciate The Fitzy. He threw a ton of great passes and his receivers made a ton of difficult catches. It was a poor defensive showing against the pass over the middle, for sure. But not as bad as it seemed. Gieseki made about five very difficult snares.
  23. Let it schnow, let it schnow, let it schnow... He's pretty funny, and a big part of this team, culture, group of guys that are easy to love.
