  1. Yep. A part of the playcalling squabbles we have has to be put on McD. He's a very conservative coach in game. He plays that way defense and offense and special teams and clock management and go for it/punt calls.
  2. Jerry Hughes had a really good game. The whole back seven overall played well.
  3. He does make two or three good calls a game.
  4. Some very good and some criminally bad coaching this game. We did what we had to, but we are lucky the Chiefs turned into the Bills the last month or so. They made more questionable calls than we did.
  5. Let me know if any of you guys have had the same thought. The Bills should roll Taylor out sometimes, and they should call some designed runs. Discuss.
  6. Peaky Blinders. Season four. Comes 12.21.17 Terrific show (I know was discussed here before).
  7. His coaches in Baltimore, Kubiak, and, uh, Dennison, wanted him and offered more money than the Bills, but he thought he had a better chance to play in Buff so he took that offer.
  8. Yep. We need to be aggressive. We need to go get the one the evaluators like the most. The problem is we don't know if we can trust the evaluators, we are going to have to overpay, we are going to risk our next three seasons on a guy that probably has a 30-40% chance of succeeding. We have a ton of other holes to fill. McDermott is a conservative defensive coach that is all but betting his career on a trade up for a risky offensive guy he will need to let loose.
  9. I agree that Thurman was a better Bill. But slightly. If Shady was on that K Gun team he would have put up insane numbers and had a boatload of long TD runs.
  10. I dont think there is any question Rosen is going first overall to Cleveland. Darnold is likely staying in school. None of the other guys are worth three number ones, which it would take to get up to 1-4. The question is how good of a poker player is Beane. Mostly in the reading of other players in the game. If he is going to trade up for Jackson or Mayfield he needs to know how close other teams are to pulling that same trigger. I would be ok with either of those guys but they are both serious risks. 50-50 franchise guys and likely less than that depending on your definition.
  11. If Peterman had any one of those debuts he would be starting this week and wouldn't have been benched at halftime. Even 1-8 with an injury. Those crappy games are the equivalent of Phil Simms in the Superbowl relative to Peterman's implosion.
  12. There was a report that Dak went up to Jerry Jones and threw two dimes on his desk and said "Go get me a couple dozen running backs!"
  13. Two large down, two large upon delivery. This conversation never happened.
  14. Big, if true, which it's not.
  15. When Dak went to the sidelines and Garrett asked what happened, Dak said "I don't regret the decision to roll left and lob the ball right to the DB, I regret the result."
  16. Who needs talent at the WR position?
  17. No one covering the league watches the games the Bills are playing. Right. Carry on.
  18. Another in an endless series of nonsense coming from you.
  19. And you know how many games these guys watch? ?
  20. He was bad. His Int was also a perfect pass. He had that bomb dropped. He had a 30 yard completion called back by a hold that had nothing to do with the play. No reason to bench him.
  21. Forget the games up until now, forget the 5-2 start, forget the Saints game, forget the benching, forget the 5 INT and Taylor starting the second half. If the Bills turn it around and make the playoffs and TT does well (however unlikely) in the last six games, there will be reason to keep him regardless of the draft and rookie QB. If he doesnt excel, which is likely, and we dont make the playoffs he will not be a Bill in 2018. But that's exactly as it was when this season started. Nothing has really changed except indigestion.
