  1. Sammy has also drawn two interference penalties on long balls.
  2. In general I agree with all of that. On third and short and in goal line situations, overall, we have had lousy blocking this year. A couple decent holes but mostly bad.
  3. No it was first and ten. Shady's second of two straight long runs. But it worked well. And I recall another wide pitch that worked on third and short and one that didn't.
  4. It went for a 20 yard TD last week? I thought Dennison mixed it up decently in the first third of the game. It worked to a degree, so he abandoned it.
  5. Should the media get some of the credit for the win?
  6. From his rookie season, Glenn played and started in 72 games in a row until three games left last year.
  7. Yep. Wins like this set the franchise back a decade. Maybe more.
  8. Except I was kidding. Worst reason ever. I have a really good idea. Watch the games and then decide yourself if he sucks or is good or somewhere in between. Or, ask the neighbor's dog what he thinks.
  9. OR... why the offense is putting up very pedestrian numbers. These guys in charge don't appear to be the best offensive minds in the NFL.
  10. He did, and not well. He played well today but the Chiefs don't have great wideouts. Hill is very fast and a very very good playmaker but not the best WR.
  11. A couple years IiRC he was right at the top of the league in least sacks given up. And usually linemen are either good run blockers or pass blockers outside of the top ones in the league. He's both.
  12. Yeah he had an average game. Getting better. Regained his confidence a couple games ago which was huge though. He missed a few today. Not easy plays but ones we needed.
  13. McVay, to his credit, hasn't changed his offense at all. They just have different guys in on plays Woods be in on. Goff still doing all he did before, spreading it around. Made a great TD pass to a nobody.
  14. Gunner is one of the best college talent evaluators on here. He is not going to make an evaluation based on his college play or stats but how they translate to the NFL. So raw stats like that really do mean nothing. If, for example, he cannot make NFL throws even though they are completions in college Gunner is going to see those are incompletions or INTs in the NFL.
  15. He can and does hit that pass a lot. He didn't there. It was a bad pass and one of his worst. But hard to say that's the reason he's never going to be a franchise guy because he hits players like that all the time.
  16. Thank you. The line did not block well at all. Just when they kept 8-9 in or a few roll outs.
  17. That Kamara is one helluva player.
  18. The real bad thing about it was the affect it could have had on the game. The Chiefs had the first down. Those 15 yards could have been the difference in the game.
  19. But Tolbert is the perfect complement to Shady. Shady is fast and Tolbert is slow. Shady makes all kinds of cuts, Tolbert makes none. Shady is a threat to go all the way at any time, Tolbert is a threat to go a quarter of the way, an eighth of the time. Shady makes defenders miss, Tolbert makes defenders hit. Teams have trouble preparing for both kinds of runners.
  20. One of the reasons defense played great was the Chiefs had poor field position all day and that is because of lack of turnovers. I said one reason not main reason. But it allows you to play the McD defense.
  21. That last one, knowing it needs to go OB and inside 20 was really good to get it out at 11. You couldn't let Hill have a chance. Great kick.
  22. I agree it was one of his worst plays and I'm a Tyrod fan. That was one of few that he had time and a guy open and it's easy. He missed an easy play. On third and long. There were a lot of plays people will complain he didn't make that he had very little chance on.
  23. Funny that the second or third longest completions of the game for Tyrod was one of his worst plays. He had to make a better pass than that. That said, O'Leary (whose grandmother played lacrosse at Harvard), dropped to his knees to make sure he caught it. A good receiver an probably just catch it low and run (not at full speed but didn't need to). TT didn't have a lot of chances. Dennison sent two or three guys out all day and the Chiefs easily covered them.
