  1. I was though. The wind was a minor factor the entire game. 53 yards for Hauschka was an easy choice. 4th and 7?
  2. That's somewhat what I mean though. Halfway from the kicker to the sidelines are the hands guys, who charge. It only makes sense. There is nothing in Preston Brown's career to be the guy halfway between the kicker and sidelines and charge. Zero. Nothing. Just incredibly stupid.
  3. Personally I think it was a brilliant move by the Bills. Leak that Joe Webb package will be huge part of game plan against Fins. Know they monitor TBD. The Dolphin get the time to prepare for the Joe Webb package all week, like perhaps 15-30 minutes of their defensive game plan. Then... out of nowhere... PULL THE SWITCHEROOO!!!! And don't use the Joe Webb package at all!! It's likely one of the main reasons we win today.
  4. He could look at Crossman and say WTF is Brown doing in the spot every other team puts a hands guys in there?!!!! And then he has him rush the ball, short of ten yards by a few yards, and muff it.
  5. So you're saying that in an earlier similar situation the coach makes the decision to kick it and the guy kicks it at 56 and it works. So then he has a shorter kick at 53 and he decides AGAINST the kick and it doesn't work and you support that?
  6. Yup. It helped a lot. Quite a few questionable coaching decisions in last quarter. Thankfully we were playing Cutler. He's got a great arm and will make plays but a coach killer more than anything.
  7. It's fourth and seven. How are the seven yards for the FG different? There is much better chance of making 53 yard FG with Hauschka than 4th and 7 on offense. Clearly awful call. And also showed by what happened.
  8. he was in the position that the hands guys are always at. Halfway between the kicker and sideline. It's insanely dumb.
  9. You did t watch it live? You didn't see him screw it up in three different ways?
  10. He's made 12 of the last 13 over 50. The BALL is not cold, they keep them warm. 53 is easily in his range. If over 55 then maybe there is an argument. But there is zero reason to not kick it from 53 there.
  11. On both plays the FG was the right choice. I understand the call from the one. The call from the 36 was terrible. Just terrible.
  12. I'm not sure if this is a Crossman, I assume, or McDermott thing, but who the hell puts a guy like Preston Brown out on a 100% sure onside kick. That is coaching malpractice to a criminal degree. And then he charges and muffs it. That is literally insane. No one. No one. No one does that. He's not even a LB known for his hands. That could have blown the season and it's malpractice of the highest degree.
  13. That's just stupid. It's a totally different call. They should have gone for the FG this time for sure. It's obvious. Hauschka has a great leg. He's hit 12 of the last 13 over 50. We need the 3 points. It's fourth and 7. You're a total moron if you think that is the same call. It's embarrassing Joe.
  14. I dunno. He played great last year. He hasn't played hardly at all this year. He played one total play last week against the Colts and it was the game winning TD by Shady.
  15. He did a couple things in the first half that were either obvious or they worked before and he had abandoned them, and then he abandoned them in the second half. He's awful.
  16. That was a terrible play call on fourth down at the two, too. Another reason Groy's mistake bailed us out.
  17. That's probably the scariest part of the OP's post if it we're to be mostly correct. That our two guys running the team can't wait to spend 25m a year on Cousins.
  18. It’s not even that. It’s assuming a NE and a sweep of Miami. That is not an easy thing to imagine. They could screw up either Miami game. Beating all three in a row with the last two on the road has to be less than 10% chance.
  19. No, she'd be a tranny. Are you ever right?
  20. If gaining one yard on fourth and one is at least a 50% percentage, it's almost impossible to imagine a scenario that punting increasing your probability of winning.
  21. LA is a great city. At first when I moved I didn't like it. Some things like every city are tough to deal with. But after awhile, overall, it's incredible. There are so many great things about it.
  22. 46,000. There was 68,000 in the LA crappy stadium.
  23. Yates played in the game for Houston today.
  24. I stand corrected. You're right. They ran the first two plays. So that strengthens my point even more. Why wouldn't they have done the same thing. Your argument was because forced them back by the punt it changed their strategy and they would have to go further. Which means MORE passing. But they didn't. The first two plays were runs.
  25. Yep. But they tried to lose.
