  1. I could have told you Leinart was going to suck. Rag arm and slow at everything. It amazed me there were NFL evaluators who even thought he would be good. He was a bigger, slower, Matt Barkley. Had no chance to be good. I'm with you, brother!
  2. Said no one ever. Except you.
  3. Yup. They hate the playoffs.
  4. Yup. Not even sure why the other two exist.
  5. Is Friday the last day to activate someone to active roster? They cannot do that Saturday? Just curious. I'm sure the team could get him there if they wanted.
  6. Well they usually spell it wrong. I should have noted "Town." He's from Kenmore East, my high school.
  7. He's always the lone DL chasing every play from behind, and sometimes even catches up with runners after exploding off the line in case it's a pass play. He tries harder than virtually everyone on the team, including Kyle, who doesn't do that.
  8. That is probably a decent sign that Shady is a real possibility, and his "game time" decision not just a flat ruse to make the Jags prepare differently. This is not to say Shady has a good chance to start or play, only that it's likely not a forgone conclusion. Regardless of what the team announces as his status.
  9. Actually, this probably is the end of the Peterman Error. If Tyrod is retained, they will undoubtedly still draft a QB high, and only keep two on the active roster. If Tyrod is let go, they will undoubtedly draft a QB high and then undoubtedly sign a veteran backup to help him, and only keep two on the active roster. With all 16 games on the active list this year, Mr. Peterman is probably not eligible for the PS (although I don't know all the newer rules), so maybe he is.
  10. Not sure. But I know O'Leary's grandmother played lacrosse at Yale.
  11. Yup. Born in de Buff. Tonawanda.
  12. Must be the work of Jeff Glor.
  13. And look who he is surrounded by. Garrapolo, Goff, Rodgers...
  14. All DD kidding aside, I expect both Shady to play, and a decent dose of Webb in the Wildcat to take 3-5 carries that would normally be Shady's. It would be smart, IMO. Webb can run.
  15. The point was only that the defense wasnt the reason the Bills made the playoffs any more than Tyrod was. Tyrod was Tyrod, which is pretty good but surely not great and capable of playing lousy. The defense was pretty good but surely not great and capable of playing lousy. The one thing they did great was turnovers, which is also the one thing he does great. Haushcka was clearly a difference maker.
  16. The defensive league ratings against the run and the pass were about the same place that Tyrod was in the league ratings. And you can't say turnovers were the difference because Tyrod was #1 in the league in that category. The defense had several atrocious games, so you cannot use that as an argument either.
  17. "There are three "i's" in Michael Irvin." - Marshall Faulk
  18. He's 5 11 at most. Height could be a huge problem. He's very, very good though. I would be thrilled if the Bills drafted him. He will, however, never ever have as much time to throw as he just did on that last ball Herbstreet was gushing over on the Bills. Never.
  19. Exactly. You can see the playcalls before they come.
  20. One of the misses by Hughes was not a miss. False stepped up before Hughes got there. He couldn't have made the sack. And he had a great game. The other one he should have had.
  21. Oh right. What am I thinking. Ha
  22. How do you figure? They were 9-7. He didn't start one game, a loss. Edit. Oops. Forgot the snow game.
