Impossible to peg. Incredibly he is 24 years old and won't be 25 for six months. I wouldn't doubt if someone gives him a huge contract compared to what people are predicting, without a huge signing bonus so they can get out of it after a year or two.

Predict the Saturday Wild Card games

I didn't say beforehand but I would have been 0-2. No one in this thread got 2-2. -
How much better has Tyrod made our OL look?
Kelly the Dog replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To me Tyrod's problem is often that he is too elusive, and escapes so often that he thinks he can do it all the time and it's blatantly obvious that he can't. So he gets caught from behind way, way too much thinking he will just run away from these guys. But they often are running full speed when he is just accelerating and they catch him. He needs to have better judgment on when he can and when he can't get away. -
It warms my cockles to think of all the Bills fans who left the NFL over the protests that didn't get to experience the show bowl or Miami wins or Dalton play or tomorrow's game. Losers. Or, worse, the many ones that took such a stand and screamed "I'm done!" and now are going to watch tomorrow's game because they are such patriots.

ESPN predicts Alex Smith as starting Bills QB in 2018.

Alex Smith is as athletic as Tyrod Taylor, regardless of quarterbacking abilities? Did you really just type that with a straight face? -
Marcell Dareus Training Hard for Bills Game

I still see a kid from a small town whose dad died when he was 7. His mom was sick his entire childhood and later died as soon as he went to college. His mentor, his high school coach whom he lived with as a senior then suddenly in a car crash that year. His best friend also died, as did either a brother or cousin. Then he made 100 million dollars. This is not an excuse for all of his bad decisions, but no one, no one had this kind of tragedy every few years. He needed to take responsibility and he didn't, but there are huge extenuating circumstances. -
Prayers For Augie, His Son and Family

Thanks for that, Augie. All of that rang true. And I'll add that a lot of people get addicted and in trouble for no specific single reason or trauma. -
Marcell Dareus Training Hard for Bills Game

They were. I saw them out a lot that week. Had drinks with a few of them. I don't at all think they were out late the night before the game, which is a much repeated rumor that holds little weight. And it wasn't as if these were non-partiers going out on New Years. They did it a lot and it got them to four Super Bowls. It had no affect on the games. -

Marcell Dareus Training Hard for Bills Game

That's a good point rarely discussed. The idea that the Bills partying made them lose in the Super Bowl is ridiculous. -
That's a different kind of cheating IMO. I have no idea how the Patriots get all the calls. Every time. Including horrible ones. I don't put that in the same category as Spygate or Defategate, which was all them. The flag thing is inexplicable to me. But I don't think it's them cheating in a huge conspiracy with knowing league officials.

Marcell Dareus Training Hard for Bills Game

Not that there is any evidence they partied late the night before the Super Bowl, but how is it a recipe for disaster when they partied all the time? They won four straight AFC championships this way. Does booze somehow know to be a bigger affect in the Super Bowl? The idea that partying was any reason they lost is absurd. They were only the best team in the league one of the years, the first, and they lost on a last second 47 yard FG, which is how the Patriots won two of them IIRC. -
Marcell Dareus Training Hard for Bills Game
Kelly the Dog replied to Jamie Nails's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually no. They did it all the time and won all the time. I know a lot about this and there has never been any real credible evidence that the night before the game, the Bills were out partying late, and not prepared for the game. It's almost impossible because of curfews. They were out a lot in the 2-3 days before the last day. -
Yep. Another one, which few here I imagine will agree with, is the importance, and more so, the significance of "halftime adjustments." I'm not saying they don't exist. But teams, especially good ones, make adjustments in the first and second and third and fourth quarters that often have way more influence on the game. A LOT of times teams playing poorly DON'T make halftime adjustments and then play way better the second half and fans just assume they do. They believe in their game plan and think they just didnt do it right. A great example was today. After the game a reporter asked a Titan - I think it was Mariotta even - what adjustments they made at halftime because the second half was way different than the first and he said "Nothing." And then we did what we planned on doing all along.

Good question. My feeling about it has a bunch of different factors. I don't think they can cheat all the time. It's obvious to me regardless of the cheating that Belichick is a genius on offense and defense, and devises great game plans, and finds nobody OL that keep this thing going, and finds guys like Dion Lewis that perform great for him. And that Brady is the most accurate passer I have ever seen regardless of cheating, and makes plays in the clutch that are so consistent they are inarguable.
