I got 25 does says he stays. If I had to bet I would say he is gone, too. We are not sure, and they may not be sure, what they will do about Dennison. They will see what the market is for a trade. They will see what the draft board looks like after the combine and after the individual workouts and interviews, which will be a huge determining factor. They will talk to his agent. They will talk to agents of the top free agent QBs and GMs of teams that could possibly be trading partners. And then they will weigh everything. I would very much doubt if they themselves know right now if they will have him on the roster when the first OTAs begin.

These two guys both put a huge emphasis on character, football character, leadership, preparation, classwork, team first philosophy, and everything associated with those things. Without taking into consideration what you think of Tyrod on the field, he gets an A+ from these guys on all of those, and they mentioned it, which will go a long way in determining whether or not he is on the team next year. Just because you may think they have moved on from him, or that he will never be a franchise QB, don't just assume they do. That stuff is huge to them, and there is going to be a solid veteran QB here next year.

Right. It's quite possible that in a few years if he does all the right things and gets great coaching that he could improve exponentially to "just sucks."

To be a rag-armed, awful interception machine with spotty mechanics and decision making skills?

Are you eligible for the PS after you have a full NFL accrued season and were on the active gameday roster for 16 games?

Favorite Robert DeNiro movie(s)
Kelly the Dog replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I could be wrong but that was the first time I remember DiNiro being in a comedy, and he was hysterical in it (If King of Comedy was before it that doesn't count because it wasn't a comedy). Midnight Run was really well made, fun and entertaining movie. Charles Grodin was terrific, too. Other underrated or lesser known ones that were great were Once Upon a Time in America, This Boy's Life, Bronx Tale, -

It was a bad play by KB as well as a bad call by the officials. They never should have been put in that situation. -

How is it possibly not automatic with 10 guys at LOS and 1 guy out on Benjamin? You're being ridiculous. What is any other possible "option" in that alignment? I'll give you a hint. There isn't one. IF there were another player sneaking toward Benjamin and in the position to be there in time, then all of a sudden there is a decision to be made by Taylor. But lining up on that play, with what the Jags were inarguably doing and stopping, 100% percent of all QBs 100% of the time drop back to make the pass, unless, I suppose they just ignored the call and their coach because they thought it was SOOOOOOOOO stupid they couldn't possibly listen to the guy. -
Best basketball player of all time

I hear this argument all the time and while those teams were a bit better, that Bulls team was loaded with great role players and another pure star in Pippen (as you rightfully say compared to the rest of the league). For all the crap that Rodman rightfully got, he was an absolute fabulous player for your team, and a superstar's absolute dream, a guy who was the best rebounder in the league, a tremendous defensive player and didn't want the ball or care to shoot. All he did was get the ball for you, and did it better than anyone in the league and anyone on those Celtic teams. Grant was an extremely good all around reliable player. They always had a great gunner like Paxson or Kerr. The idea that he was basically a one man team, which is purported a lot (not by you of course) is a complete fallacy. They had a great team and system and coach, along with Jordan. -
Notable Nexflix / Amazon / Premium Channel Series & Movies
Kelly the Dog replied to Heitz's topic in Off the Wall
While I do understand that not everyone cares whatsoever or bothers to know the difference, but I think there should be some difference made in the thread about what is a "Netflix Show" and what is a show shown on Netflix. Rectify isn't a Netflix show as many if not most know. I suppose the viewing of these shows is no different whether or not it is a Netflix show, but it still matters. Plus, there is a difference between shows that have included their runs on their networks and reruns on those networks are still being seen, as opposed to shows like the ones I mentioned I liked, "Rake" and "Jack Taylor," that were shown in other countries and we wouldn't really know of or likely see them without Netflix. There are even some disputes about whether a show like Peaky Blinders is a Netflix show or not, but at least they had something to do with it, rather than just purchasing the licensing for a few months or years like most of the stuff on the service. Ozark, Flaked, Punisher, Daredevil, Peaky Blinders, are all Netflix shows. -

Agreed, but absolutely ZERO to do with this discussion or that play or playcall. -

You're missing the point. There was no "decision" in the definition of it being a choice or preference from Tyrod. With ONE guy out on Benjamin there is no decision. That is obviously and inarguably what the "option" is in the term "run-pass option." It's 100% pre-determined the play is designed to be a pass if the team lines up that way, which is the way all teams would have lined up IMO. -

Hence the term "intellectually dishonest." Unless you want to argue that Tyrod made the wrong decision based on the lineup, and the play was designed to be a pass if TWO GUYS were out on KB instead of one. Perhaps I gave you too much credit for knowing football. My bad. -

LOL. You just made a complete fool of yourself. What he saw was what everyone watching saw. 10 guys at los and one guy out on Benjamin. There is no decision. It was made for him. A 12 year old could see that. -

The thing in, for seven years he wasn't "clutch." He often made shots at the end and often missed them. No more or less than anyone else that was a good to great player did. That's my whole point. People got so used to seeing Jordan being clutch at the end of games in his championship seasons that they extrapolated that to his entire career and that wasn't the case at all. He was still a great player those first seven years but not really the Jordan people think of. As a rookie guard, Magic played center in the NBA finals clinching game, played all five positions in that game, and scored 42 points, with 15 boards and 7 assists. -

Then you would be intellectually dishonest. Because you know if you know anything about football, which you do, that RPO option is 100% based on how they line up. They stacked the line and left Benjamin one on one. The call to pass is based wholly on that alignment. It's not a "decision" at all. It's how you run the play, and it's a terrible play call because every team would have done the same thing. It's not automatically dumb to throw on first down in a normal game with a normal team, but on that situation in this game with this team against that team, when you had just run down the field on them, with Shady, you run. Case closed. That RPO was a pass play call, not an option at all. -

It's 100% based on the lineup of the defense. It's not based on Tyrod's whim or preference or what he feels like doing or what he thinks will work better in this situation. You know a lot of football. You're being intellectually dishonest to the highest degree if you don't acknowledge that. -
The 1st and goal throw to benjamin
Kelly the Dog replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Neither Zay nor Thompson track the ball in the air on deep passes well either. They both totally suck at it, at least in this stage of their careers. I didn't get a 100% sure look at it but it looked to me like Thompson didn't track it on the deep ball to him earlier in the game that looked overthrown. There were 5-10 of those this season just from those two guys, including the potential game winner against the Panthers. Tyrod is lousy at times, way too much to be tolerable. But his line sucks, his receivers suck and his coaching suck. -
I've been saying since preseason that is precisely why he has little to no chance of being an NFL player. He has a rag arm. And if he took the necessary time to wind up and gun the ball so it got there faster, the DB would have been in the same place to make the INT because any time saved would also be time spent.

The 1st and goal throw to benjamin
Kelly the Dog replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watching that play I blamed it 100% on Zay running a 100% crappy pattern, which he has been doing all season. Neither he nor Thompson are halfway good at common NFL caliber sideline abilities. Zay rounded off his route pretty lazy, then didn't go to the first down marker. It was a pretty easy play IMO. -

It's an RPO but it isn't likely what people think. Most of THOSE kinds of run pass decisions, the QB is not making a personal choice of what he wants to run in that situation. It's WHOLLY determined by the lineup by the defense. It really isn't an option for the QB at all. If they do X we run Y. They lined up all on the line to stop the run, which is what every team would do in that situation so Tyrod's job was to call the pass. He did exactly what he was supposed to. It wasn't any "option" of his. He would have been defying the play call if he ran it. That is why even though it was an RPO it was 100% a crappy call and on Dennison. I'm not being a Tyrod apologist, he was terrible most of the game although he got little help.
