  1. They have great subs, especially the rolls. Great food all around. If I had to have one, I'd still go J&M.
  2. Real philly cheesesteaks are great. For me, Jim's are just as good or better.
  3. As a companion piece to the Pizzeria thread, what is the best sub you have ever had? My favorite is the Super Royal from John and Mary's, with a close second being a double steak, cheese and sweet peppers from Jim's Steakout.
  4. Jackson is much more athletic (not that Watson isn't), has a cannon arm, loves to run, often erratic. Watson is the opposite. Consistent. Doesn't look to run. Accurate. Both are good leaders. Watson's intangibles are off the charts.
  5. Yeah I liked what I saw for the most part. Had a lot of great throws. His WR bailed him out a ton though. I think he's a 15-20 guy but he could fall.
  6. I'm a huge proponent of arm strength being essential. Maybe more than anyone here. I watched Rudolph several times this year and I don't think arm strength is an issue at all. He can make every throw. Not a cannon of course, but I don't personally think it's an issue and I would be the first to worry about that.
  7. That's a really tough question. I think Rosen, Darnold and Allen may go above him. He would rate right around where Mayfield rates I think, and be the fourth or fifth qb taken.
  8. I chose Jackson. All of these guys are boom or bust. His upside is higher than Rudolph. Last year, watching Jackson I thought he was likely never to be good enough to be an NFL QB even though he was the best player in college. This year, he made a quantum leap. He wasn't even the best player in college, Mayfield was, but if he makes the same type of leap this year's off season as he did last year, he will have a very good chance of being a solid NFL starter if not star. He's got tremendous talent.
  9. McD knew Castillo from Philly. He was hired before Dennison and would have been the OL had McD hired McCoy or Musgrave or anyone else. That's what I meant. Dennison would have known and probably liked Castillo from Baltimore, too, in 2014 when they were both there, but he was a McD hire straight away.
  10. Likely but not positively. I'm sure that Daboll has watched a lot of film on the Bills already. But unsure of how far he has been able to deep dive. He and McD and Beane have to have the difficult discussion on the quality of the assistant coaches. It will be McDermott's final call but Daboll probably has a lot of guys he has become fond of over the years at various positions. McD cannot be happy with the OL and WR coaches at the very least. Who knows about the RB, TE, etc. I would be surprised if the WR, RB and QB coach are kept. My guess is 50-50 OL Castillo stays. McD probably still likes him, for no good reason. He wasn't a Dennison guy.
  11. They are valuable because Brady is so accurate so these guys catch it on the run and then can do their stuff. I don't think they work on other teams. Welker was somewhat of an exception because he was already good and effective before he got to NE.
  12. I think there is a lot to like but IMO that idea may be overblown. He would have been only studying defenses all week, not concentrating on offenses as much in the film room, and then on game day when his defense was on the field, he would be talking to his offense and thinking about what they are doing next. I'm not sure the one year gave him any great insight into top offensive players, changes in the game, or much of anything new he could bring to the table. Sure, while studying how the defense he will be playing the upcoming week dealt with the offenses, gives him some look at some players and systems, it's really about how the defenses reacted. And it was just one year. Those glasses are fake. I know that cat and those are not his glasses.
  13. 92.1% of people everywhere say you're wrong.
  14. Another overlooked element is that he got his first OC job at like 34, which is obviously quite young. Not unheard of but not common either. 17 years experience, under a bunch of different coaches including the two great ones, and still a young guy, is a good combination IMO.
  15. 95.8% of bettors claiming they made $6000 lost $2500. That's a fact.
  16. It was a good throw but any play by the D ends the game. It was 95% luck. He had a good but shaky game. Three fair catches he threw up. One INT, one lucky catch, one INC.
  17. Vikings were favored by 5?
  18. Looking at it again I think maybe he knows he's too close and he is going to get a PI call. Because the ball isnt there yet when he starts to go under.
  19. What a game. But still, how can a DB not just look to tackle the guy or not let him behind. Just wow.
  20. How could the Saints do that. I know it was freakish. But it's the last play of the game.
  21. Dennison would be looking behind him right now, yelling, "Tolbert!"
  22. The Saints are down by two. They may have called a safety.
  23. Don't think you can overturn that unless this is a Patriot game.
