  1. If you are a reasonable thinking person you know that a certifiable genius does not always make genius decisions. It's impossible. The greatest ever QB misses easy passes. Michael Jordan missed a LOT of easy shots. Just because he makes some mistakes doesn't negate that he is a genius. It's very hard to argue he is not the best coach ever.
  2. Maybe. He's still an unstoppable player, maybe the best ever at his position, and hardly any professional player in any sport, especially great ones, stop playing before they are forced to. Like less than 1%. Regardless of the smarts of it or them.
  3. Because they had about 600 yards and 30+ points against a top defense and lost on the last play for once?
  4. And he was crying during the national anthem. I just think bellichick benched him and he's just not all that good. People know him because he made one play on a 100 yard return. But he was a backup. BB paid Gilmore a huge contract to be the #1. He tried to trade Butler. I think BB is just a cold calculator and decided Rowe was better.
  5. It's hard to know with Gronk. Like, say, after he gets his bell rung and you have to ask him questions about whether he has a concussion, how could you tell?
  6. Because one time they just made the obvious, normal, correct calls?
  7. One thing great about sports is that it's almost as fun to hate as it is to love. Not really as good of course, but sports schadenfruede is pretty great.
  8. We would never do such hooliganism.
  9. I liked when it was less than a minute to go in the game, and Collinsworthless told a 30 second story about Brady once looking off DBs at the end of a game and then throwing a bomb to Randy Moss and then ended the story by saying it was incomplete, but "it was close." WTF?
  10. Yep. I didn't used to hate him nearly as much as a lot of people did. The last few years he has been horrible. Today he was way, way worse. He actually said that Brady was trying to one-hop a ball to a WR at the goalline.
  11. Whomever has the rights that year will play one of if not their top show, to get that huge rating and audience. 18 years ago or so, whenever Surviver started, it was only three networks that split it, so every three years had the rights (CBS, FOX, ABC). Now there are four, with NBC). So Survivor would have been seen a couple times after the game, yes.
  12. True fact: Most every year, The Super Bowl is the most watched TV show of the year. The number 2-3-4 shows are usually the show imediately after the Super Bowl like This is Us this year, the Super Bowl pregame show, and the NFC Championship game two weeks before. That's how big the NFL is. The network that broadcasts the game always plays up their top show they can run after the game because of this, and the after effects to that show's viewership is usually enormous.
  13. Well, they started about 9 this morning and it's almost 11 pm. They really cut this whole Super Bowl thing short.
  14. Maybe tonight. He's not going to get more than a #1. I'd really doubt it. He had a tremendous game though. One of the best SB games for a QB ever.
  15. Hey you two. Get a tomb.
  16. Trade a number one for Foles and use the other number one on a QB like Rudolph or Jackson or take your pick of who is available at 21. I'm not sure he is worth the number one but you need a vet QB. And he just had a ridiculous SB win.
  17. I thought for SURE it was going to pop up into a Patriot's hand at the end of the play.
  18. Collinsworth went on for a full 30 seconds about how great Brady was on one play a decade ago, and at the end, said the play "was close."
  19. SWWWEET. These kickers are pretty amazing.
