He caught it at the six yard line.

Would be way better than Peterman but I believe the Bills want a veteran backup to help the rookie QB along. So unless we are forgoing the idea of drafting a QB in round one I don't see Kizer as the two. Then you are developing two young guys at the same time with no vet or sure starter. If we are going after a bridge starter and want Kizer as a backup and then look for franchise guy later it makes a little sense. I'm more inclined to believe Sal that this isn't Billsy.

Or Danny Ainge? He was college player of the year, an NBA all-star, played major league baseball, was a high school All-American football player. In fact, he is the only athlete ever to be a high school All-American in three sports. He was a fantastic high jumper, is a scratch golfer, and (I'm not kidding) allegedly unbeatable in ping pong.

Would You Want Malcolm Butler?
Kelly the Dog replied to bills8323's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was a backup when he made that Super Bowl play. BB signed Gilmore to an obscene contract, which was in some way a statement about Butler. He tried to trade him. Then benched him for the SB. No thanks. I never thought he was that good to begin with. If you didn't like Gilmore you would hate Butler. -
Why didn’t Belichick play Malcolm Butler?
Kelly the Dog replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's what I meant. I think he found out right before the game. BB is a cold bastard. Best coach ever but a cold bastard. -
I think Steve Young was better than Montana. They both had fantastic teams and one of the top 2-3 coaches ever. But I thought Young could do everything Montana could do, and was a much better runner. Brady is easily the best passer ever. But I also think that if you put him on a crappy team, without Belichick, other quarterbacks would be better than him.

Ozzie and Harriet was a 60s show like Leave it to Beaver or Father Knows Best. They were married in real life, Ozzie and Harriet Nelson and had two kids, who were their kids on the show, one of whom, Ricky Nelson became a teen idol pop star in the 60s and 70s with a couple big hits. Sunny was just a short film idea from "Mac" and "Dennis" on the show, who then made a pilot with Charlie Day for zero money and then, incredibly, sold it and got a show made. But I imagine, like you, that a lot of it is improvised, especially because the episodes usually have a very rambling structure. I have a friend who works on it (a Bills fan), I should ask him. I don't think any of them were standups. They were actors who just by chance met each other and made up the show. -
Pats message board... Priceless

It's funny you brought that up. Because I have this theory that Michael Jordan ruined professional sports. Before him it used to be that the superstars got "the benefit of the doubt" as you say. And it was true, and it was tolerable to most fans. It made sense to some degree. Akin to the idea, like in boxing, that you have to clearly "beat" the champ to be the champ. There is no such thing as a tie. If you don't beat him you are not #1. When Jordan started to become great, which wasn't until 8-9 years into his career and he won championships, he started getting ALL the calls. Every time. It was no longer benefit of the doubt, he got every one (and when I say every one of course I don't mean every single one). To some degree Shaq got all the calls but not like Jordan. And it's easier in basketball than other sports. But the idea of a whole team, like the Patriots, getting calls like that doesn't make sense to me. Especially after they were caught cheating a couple different times, which officials should HATE to no end. -

Great, great show. Consistently funny with just a basic, limited concept, just four terrific characters and great writing. Fun fact: With the 13th and 14th year renewal, 2018 and 2019, “It’s Always Sunny” is set tie “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” which ran for 14 seasons, for the most seasons by a live-action television comedy. -

The thing is, to me, it's inexplicable. I don't believe in conspiracy theories. I don't believe the NFL told officials to give the Patriots all the calls. I do believe my eyes. So I just can't explain it but I see it all the time. -

Yep. I think it has at least one more year after it airs in 2018. I think they already have the season done that will air this year but not sure. -

Yeah, if that's true that's very strange. I don't believe Butler when he says he has no idea. I thought that BB just decided during the two weeks that he was going to start Rowe. But if no one knew, there had to be an incident. And BB is NOT the kind of guy to make an example out of a guy who missed a meeting, he wants to win. -
Who knows what would really happen but I am not only a crazy person, but it's Super Bowl Sunday and I have been drinking shots of Jameson all day, more than people named Jameson with a coupon in Dublin on St. Patrick's Day after their dead old 95 year old mother died. But why wouldn't Cousins say to any team that is about to sign him, "Don't trade anyone to those bastards. They are not going to keep me. I want all the picks and players on my new team I can keep. You're my new guys now. Call their bluff. I'm signing with you."

I don't know why everyone didn't make a big thing out of that fact. I kept screaming that he caught the ball at the five yard line. How could it not be a catch? Then I saw the last replay and he actually caught it like you said, at the six.

Guys like Patricia and McDaniels get way, way, way too much credit. Belichick runs every bit of that team. The reason they are so good are Belichick, Brady, Belichick's game plans on defense and offense, Belichick's roster wrangling, and Belichick's in game adjustments, then the corrdinators and rest of the players.

Agree. But he was horrible tonight. Like to an embarrassing degree. He's like a great or very good player who just hits a wall and just lost it. I used to really like him. The last few years he has been hard to like. Tonight he was just unlistenable.
