  1. I said he is not the troll, people criticize him personally with tweets and then he jumps all over them, usually going too far. And then you gave an example of people criticizing him personally and he jumped all over them, going too far. The fact he gave his political feelings about a party convention is a generic thing. It's something we all do. It's not personal. It's not trolling. If I say I can't stand the Democratic Convention and those politicians are all liars, and you come back and tweet to me, kelly the dog, you are such a whiny loser, who is the troll?
  2. I was responding to another poster who stated that TG was the troll, which by definition is the one starting the discourse. And I responded that he was just responding to people who picked a fight with him, or criticized him, and then he went too far in his reaction. I said in this thread that he is thin-skinned and snarky several times already. I just wish people would separate tweets from sportswriting. I guess it's too hard for a lot of people and that's a sign of the times.
  3. So, in other words, exactly what I said.
  4. Give me examples of when he just started it and went after someone. I saw dozens and dozens of times when someone would tweet to him or respond to him, and then and only then did he go off on them. Personally, I found it funny. But I am snarky myself and I understand why people don't always like it or get it. But he was not the troll. He responded to trolls. One can argue he went too far or had thin skin. He never started it as far as I have seen or know.
  5. No, I think he is talking about the one that Joe Webb threw the game winning pass in.
  6. It's like that Carly Simon song, "You're So Vain," I bet you think this thread is about you. Sorry, Hap. Outta my hands.
  7. I heard jw actually writes his responses to Promo's posts before PTR even writes those exact posts.
  8. They won't. It would set off an unnecessary six week jerkoff in the media and on here, in every meaning of the word.
  9. But one now. Much better chance of winning it than Peterman going 10-0.
  10. I didn’t miss it I ignored it. I love fiction and comedy, satire and even farce, but really not into serious science fiction fantasy.
  11. He's really good at playing possum for 17 weeks.
  12. Well, it is very true that a lot of people have smelt up this thread pretty bad with their rancid takes. A lot of **** happens. So what? Just because idiots do it on both sides doesn't make it sensical, or right, or how one should act or a illogical lunacy that one should also do. If anything, you should tell your friends it's stupid and to cut it out. I don't watch The Ten Commandments and say I hate that movie because Charlton Heston is in it for crissakes. I say I hate that movie because Charlton Heston is a one note wooden actor!
  13. I am one who personally absolutely hates when actors or celebrities spout off their politics like, say, DeNiro did. Especially at awards ceremonies. And I'm a liberal pinko fag who works in Hollywood. But it seems ridiculous for people to bring that into things, ESPECIALLY in movies or TV when an actor is playing the part of someone that is NOT HIM. I'm also an old white dude and happen to like Bruce Springsteen, but I don't like him any more because I agree with some of his politics. I don't agree with his religion which he talks about all the time and which is infused in more of his music than politics but i don't like him any LESS because of his religion. I even like a few Kid Rock songs but I don't like him any more or any less because of his politics. I love Clint Eastwood and pretty much everything he does but his crappy politics (IMO) don't enter the equation in any acting or directing that he does. I find it ludicrous.
  14. Josh Allen getting on the field early, which may be a short term failure in exchange for quicker long-lasting future success due to experience can still be easily looked at as "team success."
  15. Like sports fans in most cities in all major sports, if they know anything at all about that sport, they are probably wrong.
  16. And it's a good one, but not the only one, nor the biggest, nor the best.
  17. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000917395/article/josh-allen-why-drafts-most-intriguing-qb-prospect-might-also-be-the-best https://www.si.com/vault/2017/05/09/no-one-no-1 I dunno, I googled "feature story on josh allen" and read the first two long features and neither of them mentioned it before I stopped looking.
  18. You could say that about virtually anything that is big or popular in any profession.
  19. They didn't run block well either. Shady was hit in the backfield more than any other player in the league, and it wasn't because he danced.
  20. Well you're right even when you don't know you are right, McBride!
  21. That stat you refer to may be the most misleading stat in all of sports, below "Most intentional walks by an ambidextrous pitcher in night games that ended in seven innings or less in cities that start with the letter P."
  22. No apologies necessary. I kind of assumed it was a quick glance at that post. I got it. I was referring to the murderous dictator and let's ignore all that because he's a "funny guy" - "loves his people" stuff.
  23. Well, our President actually does. That's the one and only political reference, because it was in a response to one, so please do not let this get political fellas. One and done.
