  1. I’m pretty sure I can be a better head coach than Adam Gase simply by hiring two guys who know NFL football and saying “You take care of all the offense and you take care of all the defense.”
  2. He ain’t the type. He’ll be fine.
  3. The MacKenzie pass was a perfect lob, too. Sure he was open but it still was a beautiful pass. He only missed about three the entire game.
  4. Johnson was having an excellent game. At least two killer hits on ST and that tremendous TFL of nine yards. He earned his snaps.
  5. That was one of the most obvious penalties of the year, in the middle of the field, against a star player, right in front of the ref. Of course it would be called.
  6. Yeah I mentioned that play earlier in the thread as a possible reason that McD held him out so long. But the fact is, he didn’t fumble earlier. The ball came out when it hit the ground.
  7. It was also a fluke play that isn’t likely to ever happen again. Not like he was careless with the ball, he just made a mistake. I thought they should have sat him for a couple series myself.
  8. Didn’t we? I thought the only two receivers on that play were Smith and Ryan Bates. imo that was a terrible call on fourth after not being able to run it in first. The D would almost be expecting a pass. You run that on first or second. Plus you have freaking Josh Allen. You roll him out on a run pass option.
  9. I was blown away by #4. That was insane, especially the view from behind.
  10. Yeldon was all but benched for fumbling in his first year here.

  12. They ran him in the fourth quarter last night one carry. He also lost the ball earlier they called a fumble but then overturned it because he was barely down. Even though we kept the ball that may have influenced McD keeping him out that long. I thought so too but when I checked the play by play on ESPN they didn’t list one. It was on the same drive they gave him a carry.
  13. I liked the one “free play” that wasn’t an Offside yesterday. The play that Diggs got mugged. Josh pointed it out in the middle of the play and then looked downfield. I was laughing while the play was going on.
  14. In order for you to reach being a top coordinator you need to be a very competitive guy. If you’re a very competitive guy, you want to be the top guy and in charge.
  15. Funny to say this but Butler getting his ass beat and blown off the line two yards deep into the end zone made this huge lane for Tremaine to run straight to the ball carrier and stuffed him cold. If Butler doesn’t get clobbered not sure Edmunds would have got a clean shot and stop.
  16. Awesome, Spartacus. 😎
  17. Singletary makes the first guy miss all the time. He's also pretty strong for his size and moves the pile. He gets engulfed immediately a lot because of the OL deficiencies more than his.
  18. Beasley said it was Mongo's idea, and before the game, Cole told him if I reach the endzone I will let you rock me to sleep.
  19. Skip Bayless has not been right since... okay, he's never been right.
  20. That was huge. Both INTS were huge. Another monster play was Daryl Johnson for the 9 yard loss on a running play. That was the only time I thought maybe the 9ers MIGHT be able to get back in the game, and suddenly it was 2-19. A TD would have made the game 17-14. They got a 45 yard FG instead and the Bills went down and scored. And what a ridiculous effort on that play.
  21. I think 95% of coordinators on both sides of the ball desperately want to be head coaches, even and especially after they have failed. They all believe they would be great head coaches, and we should want them to. .
  22. That stat has to be put in context. To the eye, when they run Josh he usually gets it, for a variety of reasons. When they try to run Motor or Moss they are often stuffed. I liked the option to Singletary on a short yardage yesterday, which worked for the first down, if only to make other teams have to prepare they may go wide on those plays. Our run blocking, for the most part, has been terrible this entire season. Sure they get a couple 10 yard runs a game, but mostly our runners are hit immediately on the majority of regular and short yardage runs.
  23. I can't believe that Beasley let him.
  24. From the list of quote-makers, that says more about you than them.
