  1. I agree with all of that, but I don't think Jimmy G, or even Tannehill or Cousins are all that good. Tannehill is sometimes very good. I think JG and KC are average guys who put up big numbers in systems but I dont want any of them as my franchise QB. Agree that Goff is pretty good in that system, but most of the time he is throwing to open, good WR and TE.
  2. McVay is also very good IMO at game planning and tweaking his playbook week to week for specific opponents. You know as well as anyone a scheme is not a static thing. Sometimes, maybe often times, the Rams just humiliate teams with plays that have 3-4 guys wide open at the same time. I don't even think Goff is all that good. Middle of the pack at best. McVay is the good one.
  3. He’s gonna be a bear to stop in 2027 on his fifth team.
  4. Thx for putting in the time and effort. Nice write up. They do have a bunch of weapons but I’m not sure they can stop us with those DBs and losing a couple folks. Going to be a close game. I think we squeak it out.
  5. Yep, easily my favorite. Sure, he loves Josh and the Bills, so it's easy to like what he says. But he's very detailed, has an engaging delivery and personality, and no he gives reasons for his opinions. Great stuff.
  6. I was just watching the all-22. On the miss to Lee Smith in the endzone he totally blew it. It was an easy score. He was wide open and should have just stopped in the middle of the endzone with no one really on him. But he waited forever and by the time he looked for the ball he was covered. Josh threw it to where he was hoping Smith would go but he never did. A normal TE has an easy TD.
  7. I think it all changed for me and I knew we were going to be fine at QB for a long time when the Bills changed all of their pre-snap “Omaha!” and “Blue! 32!” signals to “I got this” and “Hold my beer.”
  8. I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand Walkin' through the streets of Soho in the rain He was lookin' for the place called Lee Ho Fook's Gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein.
  9. Wasn’t Bart Scott a known douche canoe who flipped fans the bird, got in fights with coaches, threatened reporters and taught teammates how to get costly unsportsmanlike conduct penalties?
  10. I just looked it up. Apparently no games are scheduled originally for Sunday night on week 17. They leave it open and then flex one. There wasn’t one scheduled last year but they played one. There wasn’t one scheduled this year but there will be one.
  11. He doesn’t even spell his own name right!!!
  12. You’re right. But there are also “national games” where most of the country shows a particular game, and Bills Dolphins could easily be the 1 pm or even moved to 4 pm and that national exposure.
  13. I’m hoping he has a real game-winning pressure kick before the playoffs start. He’s been better than we could have hoped for, but not a lot of serious pressure kicks.
  14. And rightfully so. I remember on his first tenure with the Bills he caught a pass about 10 yards down the sideline and then ran out of bounds. And a Bills WR, maybe Robert Woods, was blocking for him and went up to him and said “Why didn’t you cut up field? There wasn’t anyone there.” And Lee Smith said, “I don’t cut.”
  15. Maybe 8th, after taking a sack or throwing it away.
  16. Agreed. The playbook and offensive scheme is one thing. But the game planning, tweaking the design of the play for a specific opponent and practicing it during the week as part of that plan is another, and setting plays up and calling the plays at opportune times is still another. All different talents. Daboll is good at all and getting better. Better even than earlier in the year. His progression mirrors Josh’s as much as it follows Josh’s.
  17. Oops. Ha. Thx. I will delete that.
  18. Maybe a sixth rounder. Because that is where you can find GOAT quarterbacks.
  19. Mahomes is the best player in the league. But the MVP is a different concept. Sam Darnold would likely be very good on the Chiefs with that offense, Andy Reid, Tyreek, Kelce, running game, etc. It’s easily arguable that Josh is as valuable to the 9-3 Bills as Mahomes is to the 11-1 Chiefs.
  20. Maybe. But I hate people that I hated for good reason and then have to begrudgingly like because they no longer possess the sucktitude that made me hate them in the first place. And you don’t get a touchdown just for aligning yourself next to someone who knows football 10x better than you. You get, like, a PAT.
  21. Just because a guy was stuffed on one play (Moss in 4th Q) where DL blow two yards into the offensive backfield and he's tackled almost immediately does not in any way preclude that he would be stopped on a second, third, or fourth attempt. That is absurd. Moss is a better short yardage back than Singletary, who is not horrible, just not as good. The real issue with our short yardage game is the blocking. But Moss should be in there on short yardage.
  22. Yep. But the view from behind made it look even better because you saw how little of a window he had. It was incredible. Love the style of the release and spiral of this view.
  23. I think perhaps it would have been more correct for those 49ers to say, “We didn’t know what we were doing” on most plays.
