  1. Darnold just threw a TD but to a guy who wasn't covered that he was looking to all the way. You say he had 17 points but Josh threw a perfect TD pass that was dropped and Sam threw a good pass that was a great catch. How you one that was better as far as who looks better is beside me. Sam also had two short fields on that 17 points. Josh didn't have one short field. I just think they look similar. Some really good stuff and some really rookie stuff. Sam is in 10x better situation imo.
  2. Darnold gave the Lions 7 points. Just handed it to them. One of the very very worst things you can do. His TD was very nice but also easily could have been another pick. Darnold had a nice run, Allen had two nicer runs. Darnold held the ball too long a couple times and got sacked, even though he had much better protection, Josh held the ball a couple times too long and got sacked. Darnold has yet to throw as many really nice passes as Josh did, although it's close. And they both had about a half.
  3. That is true. Anderson made a great play. Foster has not been making those plays. Although he is a UDFA playing in his first game in the rain.
  4. Foster slowed way, way down. If the pass was five yards longer it would have hit him on the dead run. It was way short.
  5. Ha. You may be right. And certainly right about Bills quarterbacks not doing that. I'll settle for good recognition and good throw. Still should have been knocked down or intercepted by that same safety you said he did such a great job on.
  6. While I agree that Robbie Anderson made a great catch and reached for the ball a little behind him, the Foster pass was five yards too short. The Darnold pass was very close to right on the money.
  7. I just went back and watched it again after you said that. He had all day. He looked at the safety and when he looked at his second read there was no one covering Anderson at all. He was ten yards open. I'm not sure that was such great recognition, I think most any decent QB would have seen and done the same thing.
  8. She's not a bad guy.
  9. Great catch. Very good throw. Terrible play by safety. Should have been INT or at least knocked down.
  10. That's funny. Reminds me of this tweet I read a few months ago. This hot girl was recalling how she was at a store at the check out register, and the clerk was talking to her and asked for her phone number. And she got offended, and was like, really, are you really gonna hit on me and try to get a date here? And the clerk said, "For our rewards program." The girl then said am I the biggest idiot or what.
  11. Beth Mowins sounds like she may be decent on those classic car sales shows.
  12. Hence why I said Sam is getting more time. Last year the relatively few Tyrod fans or defenders left often said he disguises the fact our line stinks, and careful what you wish for. Sometimes watching games the Bills aren't playing you it's almost surprising that these quartbacks almost always have a lot more plays with all day to throw than the Bills.
  13. So far I see him as a lot like Josh. A few clear rookie mistakes, a couple times holding the ball when he thought his legs could bail him out, and a few darts right on the money. Sam has had a lot more time I think, and Josh never made as horrible an error as the first play. But the overall game and skills seem similar.
  14. That is what I was told. I always thought that the actual fibers would be slippery and the pellets would help the grip when then rubber cleats made cuts, but the quora answer above disputes that and gives likely better reasons.
  15. Love that hit by the WR after the INT.
  16. Traction. Darnold has run the gamut. Absolutely horrible to very nice. Rookie mistakes and taking unnecessary sacks to nice avoidance of rush. He's going to be pretty good if he's not a turnover machine, which is very possible.
  17. Like that design run play design and call on third and two. Something we could do with Josh, if we could block.
  18. And the NFL keeps up its unimaginable string of "catch rule if you can." Where a catch is not a catch and a drop is.
  19. Nate may be the best model for Josh. Just do the exact opposite.
  20. We have Nate with two historically bad starts. "Hold my beer." - Sam Darnold.
  21. I think we should. And then we can have Black Lives Matter face off in the parking lot against The Boy Scouts of America, and then whichever side wins, that is the direction the team follows for the next couple years.
  22. Wasn’t this like when Rex fired the OC Greg Roman the day after his defense was shellacked?
