The Airport Last Night/This Morning
Kelly the Dog replied to Dr Krentist's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The best part for me was almost every player took out their phones and recorded the fans screaming as they walked by because of how great that was. A lot of those players had never seen a crowd of Bills fans together like that. Very cool moment. -
How the Allen narrative has changed.....

I agree in general for sure. And he’s been not only designing, practicing and calling them at the right time, but setting them up in earlier games and series. That is a unique once a year play though. A touchdown play. -
I don’t think there is any question Mahomes is a better deep passer than Josh right now. That said, deep passes that are caught are way more than people think about the receiver than the QBs. A lot of times, maybe most, are as much the WR tracking the ball, increasing or decreasing their speed, adjusting to the placement and trajectory and then catching it in stride. Some guys are great at that others aren’t. Tyreek Hill is great at that. I just looked it up.

I was almost pissed they ran that play against the Broncos in this game. They should have saved it for the playoffs -

When the Bills get near the top, we go over it. https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/voice-of-the-fan-as-bills-climb-toward-top-of-nfl-bills-fans-go-over/article_99840f66-40d5-11eb-bf13-f3b439c0c6d7.html Please read, share, comment, argue, etc. Here is an excerpt... "The top teams in the NFL often need their three subteams, the Defense, the Offense and the Special Teams, to complement each other. For the Bills, their “DOST” are all playing well at the same time. The three coordinators, including unheralded ST topper, Heath Farwell, and HC McD are all on the same page. Killer penalty flags and yards have been reduced lately. McD no longer makes anti-analytic decisions on timeouts and game management. Of course, everything starts at the top, which in the NFL is the QB position. Josh Allen is just a blast to watch. His pure joy on the field is the same as ours in our homes. Allen is ridiculous. While this is not entirely true, if you were going to Build-a-Quarterback from scratch in a lab, you would want Allen's size, Allen's arm, Allen's Wonderlic and smarts, Allen's athleticism, toughness, escapability, desire, guts, coachability, leadership, fourth-quarter ice in his veins, film study habits, running ability, personality, work ethic, humility, and just being a good dude to office workers, waitresses and anyone less fortunate. Again, it is a slight exaggeration … You might want Lamar Jackson's running ability. The Bills' run game made a cameo appearance. Zack Moss made it out of Gitmo to return to the lineup and gain some tough yards, especially in the last seven minutes. Stefon Diggs could not be covered or stopped, was getting open by two yards on four-yard patterns, and is about to rewrite most of the Bills receiving record book. The Bills are the only team with 20 or more first downs in every game... From top to bottom, the Bills have their most solid roster in 30 years. And in the most tragic, humbling, and frustrating of years, 2020, they are bringing the city and its fandom the most satisfying and pleasurable of seasons in a lot of our lifetimes. They say it’s lonely at the top. Nah. Can’t wait to be there and go over it."

John Brown designated to return from IR

I also thought that incredible back foot bomb by Josh down the sidelines that Davis caught with one foot OB was the equivalent of a drop. It was not that difficult a play, he just didn’t know where he was. -

I've seen most of every Bucs game and Gronk is not in any way washed up. He gets open all the time and makes tremendous plays and catches routinely. -

Yep. Put him on a pitch count like they have eased Milano back in. And have him run certain kinds of routes like go patterns to stretch the defense and ease him back in and create openings for other receivers, and not hard digs that could aggravate the ankles more. Just the threat of Brown helps the offense. -

I think he has had three separate injuries although I am not positive. He had a quad or calf, and a knee injury earlier in the year, and this last one was a high ankle sprain. But this one is definitely different from the earlier one(s).
