I kinda wish more Bills players would do that. Kind of a self-cleansing. If you voluntarily retire I would doubt you get that money.

I like Mahomes. But he would not have played any better than Josh did if he's started for the Bills today and had the line, WR, coaching and defense.

He made a great catch late in the game, diving over the middle. Our receivers are just awful.

Pretty much what I expected. There is a lot of hope for him. He missed a few he shouldn't have, clearly held the ball too long at time, didn't always make good reads. But there was a lot to like. Our WR and our OL is the very worst in the league. 32. Our run game cannot really get going, partly because our defense stinks too. We get crappy field position. Considering all of that he did pretty good. The next two weeks are going to be more of the same. Really tough games.

He needs to take control. Two weeks in a row not really prepared. Not doing anything. They looked lost on both sides of the ball. If I were him I would make the calls next week and see if there is a noticeable change.

Not too far off. Would have liked to see the TD/INT reversed obviously.

Don't want to speak for anyone but I think he means that they didn't do much to fix the glaring lack of quality WR. They didn't do much to fix the glaring lack of quality OL. They didn't do much to fix the glaring lack of quality QB except for Josh. So this getting rid of another WR when they didnt have good ones to start with got a cumulative response rather than it just being about Jerome Kerley or no Jerome Kerley.

The Browns also like Landry, Calloway and Higgins.

If he just catches one pass for a TD like he did last week every week he will lead the league in TDs, plus Tyrod missed him a couple times.

Terrell Owens ain't a bad example. A lot of fans went crazy because we brought in that idiot and he was a model citizen and actually played pretty good. If we had any kind of offense and QBing that year (IIRC Fitzy missed him wide open deep several times) he would have had 10 TDs. He was always open.

Just because it's the same team? So if he were on the Falcons you would do it but not the Browns?

7th for the trade, becomes a 6th if he remains on the active roster the rest of the season becomes a 5th if he gets 1000 yards and 10 Tds becomes a 4th if he becomes an All Pro and we make the playoffs becomes a 3rd if we re-sign him to a long term deal.

It's hard to argue with Brady's actual play. But if you put Rodgers on the Pats he would still be an absolute stud. And if you put Brady on a couple of those Packer teams with crappy blocking he would likely get killed and may even suck, or at least not play nearly as well as Rodgers did under those circumstances.

DJG at least sounds like a great NFL receiver.

We have a tall slow guy in his contract year that doesn't want to try, a guy who catches with the back of his hands like a sea lion who had to literally be talked off a ledge, another tall guy whose very best quality as a WR is he's good on special teams, a 6th round rookie who's hurt and a guy who didn't even start in college. Yeah, we don't need Josh freakin' Gordon. He'd ruin the WR room if not the whole team!
