  1. My gamepass isn't out yet either. I assume perhaps they provide the media versions of it first.
  2. Yep. I wonder how fast he was going in knots.
  3. That's another thing. We beat the crap out of them literally and figuratively. They had players limping off all game.
  4. Yep. And some guys are faster in shorts but slower in pads and in game situations than their allegedly slower counterparts. Similar to what you said, I was always kind of amazed at guys like Jerry Rice and Andre Reed who looked to be running as fast as they could but when they saw the ball in the air which was going to be a little long they suddenly found more speed and got faster. It's kind of the adrenaline, lift up a car in an emergency kind of thing.
  5. They were making some mistakes but we were kicking their ass in every way on most every play. They got two first downs. That wasn't them making mistakes. We got 27 points. That wasn't them just making mistakes. It was crap.
  6. I wonder what those MPH would be at 10 yard intervals. He seems to accelerate pretty quick too for a tall guy. Usually if they have any speed it's after they get going full speed with the long loping strides.
  7. You say it to your team in the locker room maybe. It's disrespectful to the Bills to say it to a sideline announcer that kicked his teams ass more before the half than the second half. Not that any coach has has ever said anything remotely worthwhile to a sideline announcer.
  8. If Holmes catches it clean it's a TD. He bobbles it and doesn't gain possession until outside the endzone. Really underrrated play by Allen getting 10 yards on 3rd and 20 to get in FG range. Very nice decision and ball.
  9. Since when does anyone associated with the NFL league office or officials know what "catching a football" means?
  10. Zimmer also said at halftime to Tracy Wolfson when we were ahead 27-0 that it wasn't what the Bills were doing it was what his team wasn't doing, so he is full of crap.
  11. I know but he started Nathan Peterman, so you cannot trust his judgment or his eyes or his veracity when he says something happened for a good reason.
  12. As I said I think Daboll is saying that for his players. You are right. He caught it and moved it.
  13. I believe the arm needs to be going forward. That's how they determine incomplete passes versus fumbles a lot of times. In this case, Allen's arms did move ever so slightly forward.
  14. His hands slightly moved forward which caused the ball to slightly go forward. Romo even referred to the slight movement on the replay. I imagine Daboll is saying it was a fumble to make sure that Allen catches it and does an exaggerated move, ent so the refs don't call it that again. Imo, either Allen stepped up too close or McCloud ran too close to Allen. There needs to be about a yard between them so he can easily catch it on the run. On the Foster try, which was the same play, there was a yard at least between Allen and Foster. Yesterday, it was about a foot, which is why they were able to call it a fumble, which wasn't true. Allen actually caught the ball and ever so slightly pushed it forward.
  15. He looked exceptionally fast. The hurdle run he was pretty fast, too. For a 6'5" 245 or whatever he is dude, he's not only agile, but pretty quick and pretty fast. "A good athlete for his size" doesn't come close to describing him. There really is a ton to like about him.
  16. I imagine that stat includes practice squads, who are members of the NFL but where a ton of UDFA are kept. It's still a lot, for sure.
  17. Is there some person on this Earth claiming you have to actually catch something before you can drop it?
  18. Goodwin was very good at a lot of WR qualities. Very good at tracking as you say and adjusting his speed. Very willing and able blocker. Good hands. Ran decent patterns. He was never just a track guy. People just assumed that without watching I guess. One could argue that his simultaneous track stuff retarded his NFL development to a degree. But he always had WR skills, even in college.
  19. This is specifically why Star was brought in, as much for the pass rush as the run defense. This was a big factor, too. I think the Vikes were confused most of the game, until it was over.
  20. The concept of Star in the middle, although he wasn't in on all of Hughes' nice plays, pushing the pocket so the opposing QB easily step up and avoid Hughes was predicted by a bunch of us and evidenced today. Hughes has been very good since he got here. He had a great game, sure, and he should get the credit, but he was making that speed rush the last couple years, turning the corner and just missing the QB who moved in a step of two to avoid him. The tomahawk happened when Cousins was just standing there and Jerry could get to him. He was on fire tonight though.
  21. Yep. He was open deep on that one too. It's remarkable how often he gets open. Bad pass by Josh.
  22. So in other words you're personally responsible for the first two debacles?
  23. It was more a slam against our other WR than pumping up Foster. This is literally the worst WR corps I have ever seen. The worst. It may have been the worst when people still thought Benjamin was a good player, including me. Zay freakin' Jones may be our best WR and he's awful right now. It's a dereliction of duty to Josh.
