Shouldn’t be. Preseason games are at 3/4 speed. Peterman can play in games at 3/4 speed. Regular season games are at full speed. Peterman cannot play in games at full speed. Many of us said this before it happened last year and then again this year. It wasn’t even a prediction. It was just seeing he didn’t have the physical capability, amongst other issues.

18.9255%. Approximately. Things aren't black and white. Five different factors in one play could make it easier for Milano to make his play. If one of the five is Star taking up two blockers, then he is doing exactly what they brought him here to do. -
Not to mention that completion percentage often does not have a lot to do with accuracy. I was a Tyrod fan (by default) but he was not an accurate QB. Many of his completions were caught but not accurate. And guys like Eli Manning would literally throw 5 WR screens in a game to OBJ which made him 5-5 in the stats, which makes your numbers skyrocket and nothing to do with accuracy. Capt Checkdown had good completion percentage because he checked down all the time. Allen doesn't check down, doesn't throw many screens to WR or RB and is usually looking downfield to guys who are never wide open and rarely make great catches.

One of the reasons. But he has really picked up his game as far as not making mistakes, not taking himself out of position, reading plays better, not missing tackles, and yes, he doesn't have to fend off blockers as much, because of Star. -

Actually, Milano was not good last year. And he was almost beat out in preseason this year. Last year he made a bunch of highlight reel plays sandwiched around a bunch of lousy or mediocre ones. This year he is making even more highlight reel plays sandwiched around a bunch of decent or rather good ones. -
Not to mention that one WR screen counts as a completion when it is 95% complete for the best and the worst QBs, and some teams throw a lot and some teams don't. Allen threw downfield ALL the time last year. Didnt throw many screens or dump offs or bubble screens or five-yard outs. All a large factor in completion %.

Or you could watch him and realize this is exactly what is happening rather than criticizing something that is provable on tape. He's also doing the second part of the reason for signing him well, stuffing up the middle on pass plays so Hughes and Murphy can use their formidable speed rushing skills to get around the corner but not have the QB step up into a huge open pocket and escape that rush like what was happening the last couple years. -
He most likely is. But McD didn't rule him out yesterday, and said we were going to wait for further tests (which they just received), and it was reasonably good news. So while McD is very likely just doing this to cause some hesitation in the Colts practices thinking Allen may play, which is about as likely and as good an idea as trying to draw the Texans offsides on your own 40 yard line late in the fourth quarter (read: it's not), Vic is technically correct.

Thanks. That's pretty strange that a complete tear of a ligament would still be termed a "sprain." I would assume that Josh has a 1 or some type of "partial tear" would likely be included in these reports. Just an assumption though. Hard to imagine at this stage of his career, with this team in this situation, that they would want him to play before they were positive from the doctors that they were not risking further or long term injury. I totally believe teams force players to play when they are not ready for their own purposes, but this one seems highly, highly unlikely.
