Hockenson at #9 Change My Mind
Kelly the Dog replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fluke. It's like all the idiots everywhere that say "I knew that was gonna happen!" Yeah, maybe, but you're ignoring the 72,572 times you knew something was gonna happen that surprisingly didn't happen. -

How has that worked for you? You're better off praying for it. Better chance of it not happening. -
New Stadium Talk as of owner’s meetings
Kelly the Dog replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They don't need an expensive retractable roof. They just need a pliant one that is loose and then pay volunteers/slaves $10 an hour to go up there and roll it back the few times they need to to like they do now to shovel snow. -

So Bills fans will be jumping off buildings onto tables instead of off cars. What’s the big deal? I’d like the stadium downtown. It can only help its renaissance. And agree with Kirby. -
Is DT Gerald McCoy done in Tampa?
Kelly the Dog replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No he didn’t. Weeks ago Yolo traded Zay Jones and a seventh for three fourth round picks. -
This lends more credence to mine and others belief that Rappaport was actually right. The Bills and Steelers agreed on a trade. Then they had to see what AB may want even though he was already under contract. When Rosenhaus told him about the imminent trade, that was Brown's response. And the deal was sunk.

Oprah has excelled at most everything she has ever put her mind to. I wouldn't count her out. She has the size you look for, and a high motor. If a little long in the tooth.

Bills sign TE Jake Fisher to 1-year deal
Kelly the Dog replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He never actually blocked anyone while playing OT for four years so he has little wear and tear and can probably still run. -
What am I missing about Jared Cook?

He's no good and we don't need him but the Saints and Seth Peyton, who know a thing or 22 about offense are about to sign him. -
I, personally and professionally, like TG myself, and found his retorts to be funny as much as thin-skinned. Sure he doesn't like to be challenged or attacked (who does?) but I found his quick-trigger amusing. The people claiming he is thin-skinned are just as thin-skinned, IMO. But he is a talented professional, too. I don't see that in Rodak.

Well, he's proven to be the better pure passer by stats. There is no need to watch these guys. I have heard that most of the top NFL teams are now going to paid by the hour scouts, up to three hours per week, who just work Sunday and Monday mornings, online, looking at the stats from the college and pro games to determine who the teams draft, sign, re-sign, etc. It saves a ton of money on travel costs!

If you asked 100 scouts, coaches, GMs, and personnel directors to "prove" which of the two rookies was the best pure passer, EJ or Josh Allen, 100 of them would watch tape of the games and make their determination based on multiple factors, many of which I articulated. If you asked 100 idiots and message board warriors to "prove" which of the two rookies was the best pure passer, a bunch of them would do what you did. That's a fact. Look it up.

Raw numbers like that, without context, are worthless. Actually watching the games, considering the situations, players, plays, play calls, improvement, throws, drops, ability, type of passes, length of passes, accuracy, down and distance, field position, and a dozen other factors will show you that Josh Allen's pure passing as a rookie far outweighed EJ's, and I was one of EJ's biggest boosters/apologists.

You are no longer a shiny object at 32 years old. Look for another analogy.
