  1. Yup. Terry was even better.
  2. Walsh was the first coming of Nathan Peterman. Super Smart, accurate college QB with a total rag arm that couldn’t take the speed or rush in the NFL. It’s incredible that NFL coaches cannot see that right in their face.
  3. Tough to tell them apart. When I just googled Terrence Metcalf to refresh my memory, on the front of the wiki entry it says his children are D. K. Metcalf, and D.K. Metcalf. Plus it’s always good to have that pedigree of father in the NFL to handle in season and off season elements. Like Robert Jones did for his kids.
  4. I think a #2 QB is an important position on any team. I also think Barkley stinks and we’re dead if he has to play a few games. I also think Rosen will be pretty good if not very good. And it’s still a horrible idea. Rosen is not the kind of player happy to be on the bench. If he doesn’t play at all or much we won’t get a 3rd for him. The chances of us benefiting from it is far less than it becoming a disaster or loss.
  5. Apparently between 6.89 and 7.02. Not bad for a big guy.
  6. It's not the worst idea I've ever heard. Think about it. Okay, it's the worst idea I've ever heard.
  7. I'd be pretty happy with those picks. That is my preference. Trade down for an extra two and take Hockenson. Then a DT and an OT and I'm quite happy.

  9. Yep. Hu Man Trafficking. Bellichick runs that defense anyway.
  10. Lambeau did a 300m in 2003 and a 300m in 2011-15
  11. There is zero reason to believe this. Maybe less than zero. The Pegulas paid $400m over what they had to pay to secure the team. And did because Terry didn't care. In fact, he literally wrote a check for 200-300m more than the current offer just to get it over with. They don't care about making the most money. That is the most sure thing in this entire scenario. They are not like a lot of rich people. The opposite in fact.
  12. Zay Jones made a quantum leap from the worst WR in the entire league to passable. IF he makes that same quantum leap this year, he will reach the point where he will just suck. He's a complete flop so far. They don't play the same. Jones didn't play the same as Harry in college either. He was a possession guy that made a boatload of catches against small college DBs. I read the reports when he came out. I was pretty high on him as a prospect when we drafted him. But he has failed at virtually every important element of the position.
  13. While normally that is true, the game is evolving. Virtually everyone said you should never draft a OG that high until the Colts did. You should never draft a short QB until the Seahawks and the Browns did. You should never draft S that high but it is becoming one of the more important positions. Kelce and Ertz are dominating games. Aaron Donald completely changed the way people look at DTs (and I'm afraid people think Ed Oliver is going to be the next Donald when there is likely only one).
  14. I never said either was a great player. Harry has potential. He'll go in the first round. I don't think Tyrod had any potential to be great. He wasn't even very good. I defended him from people saying he sucked on the Bills, and I also said their line sucked and he masked how bad it really was, especially at pass blocking, which was clearly evident.
  15. My point was that he plays nothing like him, at all. Zay also played against poor competition in college. He gets zero yards after the catch (Harry's strength), he's terrible on the sidelines (Harry's strength), he's terrible fighting for the ball, 50/50 balls and catching it at the top (Harry's strength), he doesn't know where the first down is (Harry does), he cannot track the ball deep (Harry does), he's not a big play guy (Harry is), he's a possession receiver with lousy hands (Harry isn't either of those). I have watched 30+ games of both. They are nothing alike.
  16. ASU is my team. I have seen almost every game Harry has played in his career. He plays ZERO like Zay Jones. Harry runs right by people all the time. I watch every game. ASU is my team. You cannot go by stats or by highlights. Harry is a ridiculous player.
  17. Harry is not a volume guy he's a big play guy. Harry is the guy that gets a 2-24 stat line in the first half after he makes a spectacular 30 yard catch over his head on the sidelines no one catches, catches a WR screen way behind him that is blown up and makes two guys miss before the third gets him for a six yard loss, and Manny Wilkins misses him by three yards two times wide open on bombs when he beat his guy by five yards. He's not a volume guy at all. He's spectacular, and huge, and fast, and does everything.
  18. We need a solid starting TE, OL, and DT. We have a serious need at Edge, and backup LB.
  19. The LA Coliseum is in South Central, one of the worst areas. No real problems there.
  20. Does any team have a TE, OT, LB or DL who jumped naked through glass on a balcony?
  21. There isn’t anything about Harry that is like Zay Jones outside of the fact they play WR.
  22. I have some Mexican friends who love the Bills who used to tailgate by themselves in the parking lot of the Bills bar we watch the games at. A couple hours before the game, which starts at 10 am in LA. One car. Til the cops shut them down. It was hilarious.
  23. I assume he meant Offensive Coordinator but you never know with WEO.
  24. I assume a lot of the planning includes new roads and access in and out as part of the deal. It may be impossible depending on the site but it also could be the site is chosen as part of that equation.
