  1. I really like this one. Huge need with an explosive player with big upside.
  2. Yep. Plus BPA means different things to different people. Listening to Beane talk, his definition of BPA is not "Best Player Available Regardless of Position and the Buffalo Bills." His definition of BPA is the "Best Player Available in positions of need that we moved up our board higher than better players that we are not going to or likely to pick because of who we have and who is left."
  3. He played the position at least two full years, and coming from QB helps. It is also my strong opinion that virtually every player has to be re-taught when they make the jump from college to pros, and they start from scratch teaching them all of the fundamentals they want to teach. The players with the highest football IQ learn faster. The players that relied solely or mostly on supreme athleticism are often leapfrogged.
  4. I think Dawkins is overrated on the board, although this season will be telling, with much better players around him, next to him, and Castillo out as coach. That said, right now I move him to OG and start with Nsekhe-Dawkins-Morse-Spain-Ford, with three solid backups in Long, Waddle and Feliciano.
  5. That's actually a pretty good question. I would not trade Allen for Watson. I expect Allen to be better. Surely, however, fans around the country when asked that question would choose Watson over Allen fairly heavily.
  6. That is why you send scouts to his college practices, dummy.
  7. I would be up for this, too. He looks to me like an NFL player.
  8. Because he is likely not worth the fifth year option money. I'm torn on him, and I'm sure the Bills are, too, after they said they are not going to decide on the option until after the draft (meaning if we take a DE or Edge rusher in the early to mid rounds we are likely not going to take the option.
  9. They all just happened to be BPA in four positions and none of the six positions happened to be BPA? That is quite a coinkidink, which seems to happen every round every year.
  10. I know! And where is the Bills Sideways slogan?!
  11. They were all positions of need, especially the #1 pick. RB is not immediate need in 2019 but a huge need for a complete team including the future. He didn't pick any QB, LB, S, C, WR, which are the only positions we have clear starters (excluding aforementioned RB).
  12. How about a fifth and a player, like Shaq, you may have decided you don't want to pay.
  13. I assume they could, but could they have Love start playing in training camp and then IR or PUP him without having to subject him to waivers? Then just redshirt him? I would very much like Singletary, Yeldon and Love going into 2020.
  14. That was the stupidest moment in the history of the NFL draft.
  15. That may be a way to keep four active running backs on game day. Be nice to have a threat to block or catch the ball and/or beat a LB down the sideline.
  16. I like Shady, I like that concept, but I just don't get the numbers. I suppose they figure that there will be injuries, and that some games Gore or maybe Yeldon will not dress. Maybe they bring Singletary around slowly and don't dress him for a few games, and really mostly redshirt him. Will be interesting. I want them to keep McCoy.
  17. You're letting a guy who calls himself Troll, troll you?
  18. The only thing the 4.66 means is if he breaks away for a 40 yard TD run, if there is a 4.4 guy chasing him stride for stride Singletray will be tackled from behind at the one, where he is a TD machine. He's extremely quick and shifty. I didn't think they would go RB until late. I think Shady is gone, unfortunately. I guess it's possible to not have any allegiance to Gore and drop him, but it's hard to see them dress 4 RBs when none really play ST.
  19. Wrong. Maybin put up fantastic numbers in his only year as a 19 year old starter. 12 sacks in 13 games. 20 tackles for loss. 3 forced fumbles and 3 PDs. And he didn't even start the first game or two. Those are great numbers.
  20. All I know is that there are going to be a inordinate amount of Bills fans that are going to say, without ever seeing these two players, that Singletarys ridiculous amount of touchdowns means and proves nothing, and Knox's nary a touchdown means and proves everything and he sucks.
  21. I don't recall that at all. And no one ever said that about Bruce who was 6'4" 265.
