It turns out that Wade read the defense before the ball was snapped and knew he was going to take it to the opposite side because they overloaded to (the Bills) left. That's almost more impressive than reading the play as it developed considering this was his first game and carry. He said after the game that is what he was taught by the coaches to look for. Incredible really.

I'm not sure about the second part. I'm under the impression he needs to be waived and then go unclaimed.. Then the Bills can put him on their PS. I imagine they can use one of the 10 spots for him like another player. That would make sense. But if they use the extra 11th spot, no team can play him this year. It wouldn't be right or fair to him if another team wanted him on their 53 that the Bills could keep him off the field the whole year by choice

Josh said he didn't know what to do when he scored because he'd never played a game before. In practice he would just go right back to the huddle. It was pretty funny. What a moment.

He carried it high on his right shoulder just like a rugby player would. Not in the pitch way, in the open field way.

He saw it extremely quick and changed direction quick. It was a large hole but he saw it and reacted instantly.

The funny or optimistic thing about all of the OL injuries thing, is that Morse was working on agility drills today (he will be back soon) and four of the five "best five" players were in their right positions today in practice. Morse will be the fifth of five.

What he needs to see is a Foot in Mouth Specialist. I read earlier today that after he saw the specialist he is listed as day-to-day so it is not expected to be serious but the circus is surely in town, and likely for the whole summer if not year.

Kroft is definitely a lock. They gave him too much money. Sweeney is a pretty good blocker, yes. He's a pretty good receiver and runs pretty good routes. He actually has great hands (so not just pretty good at everything). He's just not all that fast or agile or elusive. Good but not standout. Smith doesn't even run patterns.

I don't see Sweeney and Smith as redundant at all. Sweeney is the type that can do everything pretty good and nothing extraordinary. Smith blocks extraordinary and is lousy at everything else.

Tommy Sweeney was amazing on Peaky Blinders. And his grandfather is Arnold Palmer.
