  1. Cam can be annoying. He can also be personable and funny.
  2. Clowney would make this defense elite. Few other players that are potentially available would do that. We have the resources.
  3. When I moved to Phx in the mid 80s there were signs on N. Scottsdale Rd that said "No shooting. Scottsdale City Ordinance #178" Which only means they thought of 177 things before they decided you couldn't shoot people. It has changed since then but not that much.
  4. Yeah I think they need to play him one half in the third game if he is available.
  5. Thanks for that. Last I checked guys on PS make minimum of about $125,000. Some guys can make up to $500k or so and even more than draft picks but it's rare.
  6. Tim Graham, who is pretty knowledgeable even if you don't like him, said in his Athletic article that he can be on the roster and play, has to be waived, other teams can then sign him, and if not then he can be on PS as 11th. That's what I thought and makes sense. But the NFL articles imply otherwise. Of course the Nfl is dumb all the time despite being most successful league in any sport.
  7. I would imagine that has to be one of the very worst parts of being a professional football player. Even worse than the smack that put him into the medical tent and then the locker room, having to watch film of flinching and hearing footsteps with your coaches and teammates watching along, and then maybe chewed out for it. That must be brutal for these guys, any of them.
  8. Not for me. All kinds of great ***** has happened after 2 a.m. And yes that means it didn't even start until after 2.
  9. I just looked all over for the official rules and a few articles as well as reporters on Twitter have contradictory reports on it. From reading numerous articles on it, it seems, but I have never seen official NFL statement about it that a bunch of guys trained and tried out for scouts. At that time they could have been signed as free agents. If they weren't, and I don't think any were this time, they are put into the Pathway Program and if the Bills decide to use the 11th spot they don't have to waive him and no one can poach him and he cannot play. In no article from the NFL or legit source did it ever mention even a chance of making the 53. It seems that Wade cannot play this year no matter what. That doesn't make sense to me, but a lot of these articles over the last three years said same thing. Once in that program he's only eligible for PS and ineligible to play at all this year.
  10. Wargames. Not to mention George Carlin. Or the nuclear football.
  11. They have never been in the same room.
  12. Longer interview. Some great stuff. Bills Mobile: Christian Wade: "A Whole Team Effort" https://www.buffalobills.com/video/christian-wade-a-whole-team-effort
  13. He does have a rocket arm. Just sayin.'
  14. It was actually better than that. He is just learning the game, but at some point the coaches told him to read the defense pre-snap and if a play is called to one side and they seem to be overplaying it you may want to cut it back to the opposite side of the call. He read it that way and said after the game that he knew he was going to take it right before the snap. He did, made a guy miss and then showed the speed. Pretty good for your first carry.
  15. A bad neck is actually a sought after quality in an analyst because they will stick their neck out for no one.
  16. I think I heard he only practiced one day total at C and not the entire practice. One thing he has going for him is new OL coach Johnson had him in Oakland and lobbied hard for the signing. He knew JF could do it.
  17. He often bobbles easy ones he does catch. He often goes to the ground before he has to to make sure he catches it, therefore eliminating any chance for YAC and does this just short of first down marker.
  18. Barkley looked like the QB that exaggeratedly fakes the snap way over his head on a sweep play.
  19. Missing that as sarcasm was almost as bad as Zay missing that catch. It was a layup.
  20. The first one is a drop. A diving attempt like that is not a drop, by any standards. People aren't talking about that kind of play when they say if you get two hands on a ball an NFL WR should catch, which is untrue and stupid anyway.
  21. You call that play that got overturned a drop? That's ridiculous. He dove flat out and was an inch from an absolutely spectacular catch. That isn't not a drop. Zays was particularly bad because he heard footsteps and pussied out. Not to mention it was a touchdown.
  22. I know that it was Wade's first game of any kind and first carry but was that his first play? It was first play of the drive and I don't recall him being in before.
  23. A season like that would really help our running game.
