  1. We all know that McCoy. Gore and Singletary are making it, and we are keeping at least one of Yeldon, Perry, Murphy and Wade. Probably one. I see no problem whatsoever with giving Wade a series in the second or third quarter with the starters and 1-2 carries. Chances are great that they are going to be unremarkable, or maybe pretty decent. But... if he does something crazy again, it's hard to deny its possibility.
  2. I just watched the first series. Foster didnt start but was in on play 3 and play 7, although they didnt throw to him. The first three wide had Roberts in there.
  3. He's a lock like the lock they shoot a bullet through in Super Bowl commericals. McD LOVES him.
  4. The first few plays were Beasley, Zay and Roberts as far as I saw. I could be wrong but 8 was out there in the first series
  5. There is no such thing really as the first set of cuts. They go from 90 to 53 all in one day now. Sometimes teams will release guys a couple days before the deadline but for the most part, there used to be a first set but now there is only one.
  6. I'm a believer that very little in preseason means anything, and for various different reasons. BUT... there are certain things in preseason that can be extrapolated to the regular season. One of them is Josh Allen throwing accurate short pass darts. That is going to be the same in the regular season because he has a cannon for an arm, and Cole Beasley has already shown that he can get open and make catches in real NFL games. If Matt Barkley makes a short completion or a longer one it doesnt at all mean he can do it in the regular season because he has a weak arm, and the throws he makes may indeed be different when the game is full speed. Yes, he had a good game against the Jets, but his arm is still a huge liability and it's the same one in his failed attempts in Philly and Chicago. Christian Wade may not break those tackles against starters but the catch, balance, acceleration and speed works against first stringers, too.
  7. Yeah, maybe he doesnt break those tackles against starters (although maybe he does), but that catch, the balance, the acceleration and speed likely works against anyone.
  8. Because Jordan Mills is so bad some times that it appears as if he didn’t try to block him. There have been all kinds of jailbreak plays in the last several years like in the Chargers game. And it’s clearly obvious the way to fluster NP is to rush him hard because he panics.
  9. I always thought it was “Hookers.” Hmmph. Learn something new every day.
  10. The funny thing is, it’s takes Peterman’s legs the same amount of time to get a football 50 yards as it does his arm to do it.
  11. Jim Brown in his 20s and 30s would have kneeled, no matter what he says now. Not saying it’s either bad or good, he just would have.
  12. So you’re saying I shouldn’t give any credence to this post whatsoever?
  13. Without the connections for great seats.
  14. Incarcerated Bob is a career .112 singles hitter with eight doubles and two homeruns in ten seasons.
  15. Tim Graham, jw and Nate Geary all just asked their Bills sources about Clowney trade and were either laughed at or told nothing brewing. Doesn’t mean it’s not happening but more grist for rumors.
  16. I do not want to give up a first round pick for Clowney without knowing that he is signed long term, but the idea in that article is a decent one. Like the Sabres made for Evander Kane. If he re-signs with the Bills, a #2 becomes a #1. Clowney is far better in all likelihood than any player we would draft right now with a #1 pick, which is likely in the middle of the draft, and low in the draft with Clowney this year.
  17. Maybe. And maybe Josh knew and that is what he was asking about; his mood.
  18. There was a tweet earlier today that Josh walked by Ty and said, "You okay?" and that the reporter didnt hear the answer but Ty's body language was not upbeat. That sounds like an injury kind of thing rather than a held out of practice for possible trade thing, unless Josh totally didnt know, and Ty was told not to say to anyone what the reason was. I think the speculation that it was because of an imminent trade is unlikely.
  19. So if he throws two more screen passes for maybe three yards, and completes one dump off on third and nine for four yards you’ll be thrilled? That would easily push him above 60%
  20. Way to let the cat out of the bag. Now it’s gonna be 60.
  21. Of course. I should have said 100% cleared by doctors and trainers.
  22. Never say this in public, like on a fansite or anything, because it will quickly become a tell for defenders, but if you watch closely, he wears gloves on running plays so he can't hold on, and takes them off on passing plays when it may be coming to him so he can.
  23. I think, if he totally healed for a couple days before, I would between two series and a quarter in the third preseason game. I'm not against him not playing at all, but I would like the game-style timing with Josh and fellow OL against a foreign defense. I'm not worried about him getting ready for the hitting.
  24. That's cool of him. Most people don't know that his grandmother is Lee Trevino and he played field hockey instead of baseball at Yale.
