[Please Change Title]Cordy Glenn
FearLess Price replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ive watched Rudolphs tape. He can make the throws but it also looked like a lot of 1 read throws to guys that were schemed open. Ive seen him make progressions before so i know he can, the question is to what level. The questions about his arm strength and velocity on throws is left to someone more knowledgeable on that If you watch Mayfields tape you can see him going throuh multiple progressions consistently. Thats one of the reasons why I would draft him before Rudolph. I would be ok if we stayed pat at #21 & #22 and took Rudolph with one of those picks. I would troll and riot to no end if we trade up for Allen or take a later round QB like weve done for the passed few drafts. Taking the best quarterback available at 21 and using the rest of the picks to fill out the depth chart is the most likely scenario, I still hope we trade up tho. I can light up to that -

Weve always been on the same page breh. We all want to win. I can def understand the supporting cast comment. We need young talent on the OL, and defensive front 7. The right talent and coaching around a rookie QB can make him thrive. Its almost like getting a ferrari but you have to keep it in the garage for a while cuz theres potholes on every block where you live, and you cant afford the insurance yet. The reason I cant get with build the supporting cast 1st method rite now, is cuz we have the capital to move up and grab a QB in a strong QB class, and still have picks left over to bring in young talent. I want us to take the shot while we have the draft capital to do it. Rite now we trade up for a QB without sacrificing a full draft for one player. -
[Vague Title]Colts And Bills

If they keep Luck, they are a big trade up prospect. They need OL help, they could use the picks from trading down and we can ship them Cordy Glenn. Lower expectations, less media sensationalism, and steady QB situation with some good young talent. -
Cleveland and the #1 and #4 picks.

Also with Dorsey stepping in as GM, he might not trade out of those picks. He might want to start winning now and take a QB and BPA at 4. He has not loyalty to Kizer or the previous regime. Hes basically walking into a buffet of draft picks. -

Not all 1st round QBs pan out and solid examples can be made to support both sides of that argument. Weve taken those 5 starters 'theoretically' for the length of the drought and every lee evans, stephon gilmore, bob woods, preston brown, tj graham (lmao) could never make the same difference a solid QB prospect would. We have to take our shot now that we have the most draft capital we have had in years. Thats just my opinion, i want us to win, and we need a top of the line QB prospect to pick up the slack when the defense is getting manhandled. This might be our best shot to trade up for this regime. If its not for Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield or even a Roquan Smith, I wouldn't want us to trade up this year. Edit: in other words Would you pick Gilmore, tj graham, woods, and Preston brown on your team Or would you rather have a Brees, Rothlisburger, Brady, Kelly, or Rodgers as QB? They could also blow the pick and draft Allen and let him become the new EJ Manuel. -
I didnt like any of the trades when they went down but i understood them. I really hope he was stock piling picks to move up and take a top 1st round QB. This draft will tell us what we need to know about McBeane and their scouting ability.

Wishful thinking* on my part Lets be real old man, 5 starters or a bonafide franchise QB. Who you gonna take? How many picks would you have given up for Brady in his prime? (Disgusting example i know) Edit: this regime seems stingy on picks now but everything from here to the draft is a smoke screen for trade posturing. Also seemed like his comments were fishing for trade partners in the presser. Note he repeated something like "you have to have a willing trade partner" a few times in the same response, so we are def thinking about it. -

Glenn gets traded in a package that sees us moving pick #21, a 2nd round pick, a 3rd round pick and our 2nd 5th round pick to the giants or colts for the Bills to move up and draft Mayfield or Darnold. -
I shouldve explained better. Glenn can be used as trade fodder with the Colts or Giants for us to trade up and get us Rosen, Darnold, or Mayfield without having to trade the farm. Both NYG and IND need OL help SEVERLY. I could see us using #21, a 2nd round pick, a 3rd round pick and Glenn to move up into either of those teams draft slots. IF it works out like that we'd have a top QB prospect, pref Mayfield or Darnold. And still have a 1st, a 2nd, a 4th, 2 5ths, a 6th and a 7th etc... Those 6th and 7th round picks can also be thrown in if we are in a QB draft bidding war.

If theyre worried about the cap, than Tyrod and Glenn will probably be the 1st players moved to other teams or cut for cap relief. Wish em both the best if they get the pink slip

Let’s just take a moment and thank The Giants....

Potential replacements for Eric Wood

Wait....what??? Im talking about starting Groy and signing a cheap vet back up C in FA. What are you talking about? -
McDermott type Quarterbacks

Dont jinx it you bastad! I think Mayfields better and worth trading into the top 10 for. I dont like how Rudolphs tape shows him making one read scheme open throws most of the time. Theres a few where you see him go through a few progressions but Mayfield has a lot more tape of going through them. Im cool with picking rudolph if we dont trade up, anyone but josh allen or another mid to late round development QB. It seems like Rudolph would have to ride pine for a few weeks before starting, where with; Rosen, Darnold, and Mayfield, each could probably start week 1 depending who drafts them. -

There gonna go with Groy and sign a back up quality center. He played well when Wood got hurt in 2016 -
What are your two biggest wishes this offseason?
FearLess Price replied to downunderbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Draft Mayfield, Rosen, or Darnold in the 1st. 2. Fix the front 7 and OL in FA. -
What happened? Wats the reference here?
