The Jets didnt make a mistake at all. They identified 3 QBs worth trading to 3 for knowing at least one would be there. We have no idea what their draft board looks like. They could have 3 QBs rated close enough to choose between the 3 at the value. If they pick the right QB they are set for 5 to 7 years at the position. If they draft a bust, then it will go down as an epic fail, only made worse by the fact the released petty and hack w/o taking a snap.

I would be cool with picking up Darnold too. Just dont wanna trade up for anyone besides those three.

That would be great. Honestly Mayfield and Rosen are the two QBs i want us to draft over all. If we take one and the Jets take the other it would be like a new Kelly vs Marino rivalry.

If going for Mason Rudolph we should take Roquon Smith and then trade back up to get Rudolph, that way we still get a top 1st round player on top of a QB.

Thats the thing. Darnold could aslp start by mid season depending how coaching feels he is doing. He might pull a Russel Wilson and light it up in camp. He has more of a chance to get on the field year one.

Yeah but Allen isnt just a year away. And Darnold has played a lot better defenses last season and still has better numbers. Im not a scout but i def have Darnold over Allen if it was a Madden draft.

Im guessing thats the move. Could you imagine if they got Rosen or Mayfield AND a top LB like Roquon smith or the others. It would be a worth the picks as long as u got 2 or 3 more picks this year. We didnt trade up to 12 and what ever the next trade is for a project qb. We waited till the last min to sign AJ mccaron for back up money. Beane def wants to leave this draft with Rosen, Darnold, or Mayfield. He wouldnt have made all the moves he made to take a QB thats years away, or to build around AJ.

Our run game was lighting it up? What season were u watching? Our run game was trash last year. Tyrod does good to above average with a good supporting cast at wr/te. He hasnt been able to put a team on his back for an extended period of time tho. That was his downfall here. Not good enough to win games on his own but wont lose them onnhis own either. Lol stranger things have happened. I would be totally cool with this. Kid was a model QB. Jus didn't have the talent the team needed him to have. I wouldnt be surprised to see his numbes go up, hes got a better crew of WRs and RBs to throw to there.
