14 pages and nobody has brought up the great no punt game? "That was awesome" -

Taking away Deebo is not impossible. I know he's been beat up, and went off last week, but teams have mostly limited him this year. -

I agree 3 more wins, but one needs to be Pats or Phins. Edit; duh you said this.... -

SF had a defensive score right? There is creedance to the notion they see the Rams all the time, plus Shanny and McVay old cronnies from the same tree. One thing that interests me is SF has decent ST overall, but the kick coverage unit is 25th in yards allowed. Could be a big dre day on a fast field. -

They seem to stink in AZ though. -
Just a couple points about Josh for this Chargers game: -we had the big PI call on the first drive. 47 yards. -we were up late , by 2 scores in this one, so no big slinging moments to come back. -clearly the gameplan was to run. - i think these above items need to be weighed in on Josh's statline. I think he had two bad throws, the WR screen that went crazy off, and the INT. He had a couple other bad plays, like the ankle twist play, and the bad fumble. In general, he played good. He had some solid throws and runs, and I still think it was a decent game from him.

I just did a quick look and 49ers are like 1-6 in AZ since '14. -

Deebo is good, but not exactly a top WR this year. Had a killer game yesterday and is more than capable, has been hurt, but still a modest year. -

He is a top 20 SS ...if we want to break it down like that, however the difference in FS and SS have narrowed over the years. Sure, he's got good stats... He struggles bringing down TEs or making tackles at the 2nd level. He's routinly arm tackling and getting dragged for first downs. Ultimately, I'm not saying Poyer is garbage...my point was the tandem of Hyde/ Poyer has been dissapointing. Damn Poyer's inflated tackle stats. Neither of them pop on film, and they are not playing like the kind of elite guys they could be. Teams dont have to gameplan around these guys for the money they are earning. W / incentives Poyer avgs nearly 10 million per year, another 6 million for Hyde. They just are not playing up to the level they should week in and week out. -

You gotta be kidding me to compare Poyer to Mahomes. Poyer is not even a top 20 Safety. He's not elite....sorry man. I watch the film. -

I'm not even going to argue about the DMVP ...as the entire defense has been mixed and up and down. Poyer has moments, but he's inconsistant. -

Go back to the glory days and look how much Kelly rifled it in swirling winds....you wont find as much of the film as you hope. Kgun ran a ton of screens, flares, and short passes. Look at the famous Browns-Bills playoff game in '89. Look how many catches by RBs that game. This whole fantasy of a strong arm quarterback throwing bombs in terrible weather is out there... I actually thought we had a good gameplan sunday. A couple plays here and there I did not like, and the oline struggled some, but those turnovers at the end dont happen and we handle them. -

Poyer is not playing that great. He whiffs on a lot of intermediate tackles and takes poor pursuit angles, especially in run support. At best, his 2020 gamefilm is mixed. I know he's capable of being great, but I just don't see it. -

Mostly speaking highly of us on Football Night -
49ers win. Will be tough next week.
-
Refs trying to dictate too much of these outcomes.
-
That was a horse hockey penalty on jpp what's even worse is that Nance and Romo drink cool aid.
-
49ers are a tough team but they are not the kind of team that usually destroys us ( ie spreads us out then runs on us) I think if we line up and play tough we should be able to beat them. The run is coming, and if we stop it we can win.

The bills are Wildfire . They burn hot. I don't deny that we could be one-and-done in the playoffs, but I still think we are dangerous. We could also make some crazy run and win a Superbowl. No different than old Manning G men. We need to work on some stuff....for sure...but we are way ahead of where we used to be and that is reason to be happy... 8-3 -
Will have her hands full with 49ers next week they looks Stout
