My early week take: I hate the Pats. It's 20 years and now this... They are good, and yep, they are a problem. Bills are capable of being better than Pats. Not sure I like the match up. That being said, I think we are a better team, and no not drastically better coaches, but I'd give the Pats the coaching nod. Bills won't look past this game. Neither will Pats, but a guy like Mac may not be ready for this. It will be wild and hard fought. The Kool aid will be flowing for Pats and Mac this week, Bills are no schlubs, and well coached or not that's a lot for a Rookie warm weather QB to take in. I think Mac may be due for a stinker. I also think we may see this team 3 times. Sure, Bills are a bit of wildfire. I think we will burn hot Monday night and give these golden boys a set back.

This play is another that could be called 5-6 times a game if held to the bogus written law. I get agregious violations where an OL is 5 yards down field cracking skulls but the call on Boettger was a bad call. He was not even play side and had no effect on the play. I think refs are generally good with this call and don't usually call minor in infractions.

Dawkins played terrible and deserved to get benched. -

The only blemish on this game is one bad throw by Allen and The other INT was on the OL. Good game for Buff. I know a lot of folks were out, but let's face it ....these Thursday games are tough and it's a big win. We were sweating this one so let's relax. Go Titans! -
I get torn from being pumped and from the feeling it is a huge jinx. Like I said, these games where tons of coverage on Buff invasion always seems to bite us.

Week 12: Bills at Saints on Thanksgiving
RichRiderBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
As bad as there were times with some big holes, I think mostly we could have shut them down to a manageable level if we could have just wrapped up and tackled. I think Taylor had about 40 yards with Addison literally on his back. Taylor was like some Kung Fu wire act where no matter what he sailed forward for 4 yards. -

This is not accurate. We've been run on worse and team has bounced back. Did u see Chiefs regular season game last year? We had a solid record versus rushing teams last year. Look 6-4 games versus Saints, Panthers, Falcons, Jets. Games we should be favored. Honestly next week is huge, and Bills should win. This gets us 10 wins. Split versus Pats likely gets us 11 wins, and we roll the dice with Tampa. Keep in mind down best run stuffer and OL. -

I hear what you're saying but you also sound silly and entitled. -

This is another "weather" game where we were dead set on finesse passing. Then got muscled by a team that knows how to coach ran the ball down our throats. Reminds me of a worse version of the Chiefs game last year early. This is on Daboll. Guy does not get Buffalo. -

There are times Daboll is so lost on play calling. Can't ever just huck it deep down after down. Got to manage downs better and attack angles. -

I didn't think it would be this bad w Taylor. I am so embarrassed by this team. We've got a bunch of hard running teams out there we are going nowhere. A Buffalo team that can't play in the elements. -

It's honestly not even sack there. It's 49 yards in terrible conditions. Play calling should have been in tune the down before. -

That was a screwjob call. Contact like that on most plays. -

The biggest concern here is our inability to stop Taylor. Addison has been a real goat with his tackling....consistently going high, and then the late hit. Addison has been a huge liability despite getting decent penetration. We have to go low on Taylor. -

This could get ugly. Defense looks terrible. -
I'm going to pick the Bills to win, 29-17 . This game has a vibe similar to the 49ers game. We are facing a tough, albeit flawed opponent. Even though Bills are down, people underscore how well we can do tough. 12-2 over last 2 years at home. I know the Jags game was rough, but over the past 2 years, the team has : -played top rushing teams well. -played top defenses well.

Gee, how do we crack the code to beat a 5 -5 team?

The early goings of this game felt sculpted by the refs. They extended a couple Patriots drives and really buried a few plays from the Falcons. Most of the penalties were minor. Then as the game went on and the Falcons looked anemic they backed off a bit. In the end can't blame refs for the loss, but I felt a tangible "sheparding" of the outcome early on. Ive felt this in more and more games this year.
