  1. Everyone forgotten we gave up 13 seconds again at the end of the half this year?
  2. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2023/02/02/pro-football-focus-buffalo-bills-offensive-line-rankings-dion-dawkins-mitch-morse/ I don't agree. Dawkins had mediocre grades. My thoughts on the eye test was he allowed a lot more pressure this year, likely compounded by other issues on the OL. I'd think saying he was steady Eddy this year is a bit rose colored view. Additionally, I thought he looked slower and not in great shape this season. The whole line was problematic and strong data supports that. I'm not saying dump him. I think that's too much to take on for next year . But does his future factor into what Bills do at RT? I think it could, especially for a project LT that could replace Dawkins in 2 years or so.
  3. I agree here. Just so wary of our ability to fix OL w draft. Beane has missed on so many high OL picks. I think a lot of people are hung up on Spencer Brown...but I take it a step further....what is our long term thoughts on Dawkins ? For the cost, guy was lousy and may be eating himself out of the league.
  4. He lives in Broward County, where the property tax rate is 2% , and the Cost of Living is still significantly higher than Buffalo. Again, your just addicted to your own narrative. Cost of living includes many items, with several tax rates, but again, your too lazy to look that up. If the crux of your argument is he doesn't have to own a second home ...fine that would be true for any team....anywhere.
  5. The defense was extremely productive with Von. Then, we treaded water well for a few games with Groot playing solid and some weaker opponents. Secondary and team got healthy. I think the vulnerability only came late, where the DL could not maintain consistent rush and Groot lost steam. I still say turnovers were our defense biggest issue. Offense put them in bad spots. This whole season is thrown off by the aberration that is the Bengals game. I don't know why our DL had no push and got dominated. I don't have the answers for the soft coverage.
  6. I'm talking about looking it up, which you apparently are not capable of doing. The cost of living in Miami is significantly higher than Buffalo. Property tax rate is higher in Miami especially on high value property. Google. It's your friend.
  7. This is the silliest take ever. Straight silly bro. Give me a break.
  8. My big problems with the D are scheme specific. Soft loose coverage bad coverage sets in critical situations. That and generic problems that eschew of not practicing fundamentals enough; tackling high, poor form tackling, loss of gap integrity. I don't know what the hell fully happened vs Bengals at the LOS though.
  9. You are getting some shade, but I think when you factor we need a MLB and a new strong safety , w head coach. Plus, seeing the issues we had after Von went down , you are not wrong. Lots of huge questions about how Tre bounces back, Von, the DTs DEs, yes...we are not good to go. We will need to make some moves and have a great off season. MLB should be the QB of the defense and we are headed into the league year without.
  10. What's the true blue evaluation on Edmunds? God only knows. We are told he does so much, that his length and height are so crucial in what we do. Solid in coverage. But the eye test for me at least, is a guy who is middle grade, a guy who guesses wrong and makes some gaffs that cost us big. He does not get picks, does not get sacks, Meh ..that's a weak comparison. Fletch was a mighty mite. He gets tackles as folks drag him 5 yards down field. He was not young and not the physical specimen Edmunds is. He had the same issues in WA. It was no loss for Buff. I think with Tremaine, your still factoring in that young age and the potential in the contract. I don't pay big LB bucks for a guy like Edmunds. So many have said it. He's a coverage guy. I think whoever gives Edmunds his big deal is going to use him a lot different. Honestly, Micah Parsons comes to mind.
  11. The cost of living is like 15% percent higher in Miami. Property tax is through the roof. I get it , Miami is a great place to live....but don't act like Miami is some cheap bargain area.
  12. I think we are also near bottom in YAC...some of which is a product of offense and distribution...some on WR.
  13. Did you even google before you spoke? You earn income in a state, you pay the state taxes. These players pay multiple states income tax. You pay more for the state your place of employment is in.
  14. Moving to Washington would be so stupid...tough division, coach on hot seat, could literally be fired by mid season...likely ownership change...no QB no offense...its a historic dumb move if he does that.
  15. He had like 89 yards passing in the first half , far from perfect. He had a couple throws nearly picked, including that ill advised shovel pass. Let's also not forget it still took a huge fumble return AND a long PR to win.
  16. Eagles don't have an elite élite pass rusher.
  17. I agree. Macafee is enamored with himself.
  18. Of course it would mean clearing cap and restructuring several guys deals. There are projections on several other threads, and the notion the Bills are in cap hell is vastly overrated. It would also be contingent on a new deal for Donald. A cap friendly deal. I'm pretty confident in the creative contract work of Bean. Listen, I think our Dline was actually pretty good for most of the year , but we are talking Daquan Jones and Von Miller being healthy...this is about being a cruel machine in the playoffs.
  19. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.si.com/nfl/rams/.amp/news/los-angeles-rams-espn-jalen-ramsey-leonard-floyd-aaron-donald-trade Rams open to trade. Could be the blockbuster move that sets the tone for next year. Obviously we'd need to shift money around and likely get him a new deal...but... I am liking the idea.
  20. I feel this defense is fine to build on. Just need to tweak some items. Adjustments. We have to stop tackling high and need a few more studs in the secondary. Obviously, we need the D-line, Miller and Jones back and tweak a couple players to get more of a consistent rush. If we had an elite penetrating DT this defense would be amazing. Whatever happened versus the Bengals was a shame. I don't have an explanation for the game. Neither the poor call to give such soft cushion in coverage or why our Dline got no push against a weak OL. I felt like our players struggled for footing in the snow, whereas the Bengals did not, a fact that still mystifies me. Frankly, offense has to stop turning the ball over. That puts a lot on the Defense.
  21. Not to paint this about the Bills but seems the AFC runners up always blow up/ get fired up vs us then blow it in championship.
  22. Refs were terrible this game. The call was ok...but it was a call that definitely would take effect on the outcome. I would have thrown the flag. Unbelievable poor choice by Ossai.
  23. I'm not going to totally disagree here, but there is a counter. We've beat physical teams. We've met their intensity. We met the Colts intensity in the playoffs in 2020 then , the next year got pounded by them. Beat the 49ers in a very physical game out west that same year. That was a tough defense. We beat a physical Lamar led Ravens team in the playoffs that year, also beat them this year after getting roughed up in the first half.
