I don't agree here. Definitely not a good show yesterday, but there is actually improvement in many areas. I think this version of D is very dependent on scheme strategy and adjustment. A team w not much film in the can on either side knocked us off. The defense mostly hunkered down . Consistently McD defense gives up in games early then usually hunkers down or harasses late. I know we blew some games historically too. So nothing really changed.

- Gotta have better 1st quarter. - dumb mistakes is the issue again: early drops, Penalties, and turnovers. I was hoping they had gotten over this! Seems too pervasive. This will be a narrative of why you can't trust us to win it all, and it's a solid narrative. -stop turning the ball over! - Allen needs to work on deep ball. - team needs to put in some work this week. - Lack of pressure early and soft zone on backside early frustrating. - play calling was pretty solid. - pressure and coverage tightened. - Joe Brady drinks Moxie? Gritty win. My only take away: the turnovers are unreal. We need to practice hard this week and shed some tears. Stop these goddamn turnovers.

Good stuff , until Cosell works in that line near the end again that we have limited talent. Cosell lost all credibility w me for saying we don't have a talented team. OBL mentioned Interim coaches 16-12 in 1st game since 2010. I wonder how many that win -lost their QB -lost their top 2 WR -lost C - lost top Pass Rusher - were playing a good team I think not many. I'd bet slot of those Interim coach wins were after byes too.

That's great but I'll bet my life Miami drops at least one and Bills get in by winning out by means of division so that is kind of a null scenario in my planning. I'm kind of obsessed with looking at the clinch while we lose to Miami scenario. To be honest, I think we will win there. We travel well to South Beach and can't see that oline stopping us.

Keep in mind that's to have it clinched going into final week. The reality is we need 2 of those teams to go 1-2 down stretch. I don't think it's accurate w south division winner included, so one of those south teams won't factor. A few games of note: Week 16 Jags @ Bucs Indy @ Hotlanta Atlanta is 4-3 at home and still playing for playoffs. Bucs very tough at home in FL grudge match still shooting for division. Lawrence in Protocol. Week 17 Raiders @ Colts Gotta think this Raider team is going to be a rough out. Playing for coach. Week 18 Broncos @ Raiders Same. Love Raiders here in New black hole. Also ...rooting for Titans, Jets, and likely conceded a spot to Browns. So rooting for them too.
