I worry this week especially because his wide speed moves outside really open up running lanes for hurts. You gotta think they are watching the film and may try to target this.

If you watch enough Jets, you see poor in game management time and time again. It was poor clock management and in game calls that cost the Jets the playoffs in 2022. Then there are serious macro issues like bringing in rookie QBs without a mentor. Bringing in 40 year old QBs behind this oline w/ o a great back up plan. This silly plan to sign GB skill players, coordinators, many of whome are washed or overrated. The notion they are even entertaining the rushed return of Rogers after that injury behind this garbage oline is insanity. He would get killed.

I like a mix of cheese whiz and better deli American cheese. Ta hell with folks who put other types of cheeses like provolone or mozz in Philly. Breakaway beef, large white hoagie, mushrooms, onions ( no peppers) .

Yeah, he's not great or anything. They play safe mostly w well timed deep shots. I worry most about Hurts getting yards on scrambles. We've been vulnerable to that.

Eagles look really average. Just no one stands out. If you confuse Hurts they get very one dimensional. Going to have to spy Hurts I think, focus on the run.

They lost to the Jets and have snuck out several wins. The DL is not what it once was.

I liked the execution. Team was fired up and OL had a great performance. The run w Ty Johnson that got called back, the OL had every Jet on roller skates 5 yards down field. A few other observations: Jet sweeps are back! Nice to see this fixed. They didn't work that well, but will make defenses think and may open up other things. QB runs. Again teams will have to have a plan here. Liked how they were used and think we may see some big ones here against lesser DLs. Screens and short passes. Yes, and much more emphasis. Cook is a demon. Really impressive. Shakir. He needs to be our de facto #2 . During the bye and next week, would not mind him lining up outside some and Davis in slot. Offense seemed patient. Patient to drive the field, take points when they come and relay on YAC, running and the occasional shot. Loved it.

The problem is he's a liability out there w his one dimensional speed rush. Jets actually gashed it a few times. Smarter teams will probably audible right into him. He's also taking reps from better players right now.

He's now eclipsed Sam Laporta w 51 grabs. On pace for one of the best seasons in NFL history for a rookie TE.

Philly is a Middle pack D this year. Jets are the best D in the NFL.

I think the last couple slots will have worse records than people think. Right now we just need those other 5-5 or even 6-3 teams to beat themselves up. We may need some to win one week, then lose the other. It's actually pretty likely they will. I'm not a believer in the Steelers, nor Browns w/ a rookie QB. Of course, tough to trust the Bills. Too sloppy too many turnovers. I give us better odds than the 30%, but not good odds. Very interested in Miami. 8 games left, and winter is coming. @ Balt tough game. Players who struggle to stay healthy, but a soft home dominated schedule. Yet If Bills can beat them, definitely 3-4 potential losses on their schedule. ( Balt , Dallas, Buff)

The D has lost 2 of the games by not stopping bad offenses from sub 2 min drives. Inexcusable. Magnamous issues on D as well.

We're a cursed franchise. Not sure why. We bear this cross.....just sucks though.

This is total loser thinking though. Offense gave it back to the D w/ game winning drive sub 2 min left...yet again D blew it to a terrible...league worse offense.

I just think about the fans showing up through thick and thin, show up at the airport, support, love, and more love. Then seeing an effort like this. Sick to my stomach. McD deserves to be fired. This season is done. I'm sure we'll let it linger. Pegula is a passive loyal guy. Team does not look like they rep out in practice. No guy barking " run it again" in practice to find tune reps and skill.

Fantasies about 7-4 are great and all, but then the schedule gets twisted. We just need to take it one game at a time and play our best. Going to be a fight just to get in the dance. We've also watched other teams football as well. Sorry but no one is dominant.

I'm not gloom and doom. Really Bills are 1 game off where they should be. Pats loss kills me. We should not have lost that game. I'd feel a hell of a lot better if between next stretch we had 1 softer game. Just get to 7-4 build something, get some rhythm , and hope to pull a couple games out of our ass. If we can go 2-2 between Eagles, Boys, Chiefs, Phins we will be gtg.
