I'm going to have a crazy hot take and it's that difference this year is mainly turnover related ( i.e not getting them and us committing them) AND Josh not taking short easy completions trusting YAC. We fix both those we will be fine, warts and all. That being said not saying Brady and WRs are not suckin.

I just think we sneak into the playoffs. probably take 2-3 more losses. Best case (or worst case seeing how you see it) we win 1 WC game. Team is just too flawed. Deeply flawed. We've got positives too...but we thought the oline was one of them....not so sure. No one will get fired till after the season. Brady will still get some new job, whether its something like Tulane vs Penn State remains to be seen. He will move on.

While we are talking Beane and bum deals let's mention Knox. One of the single worst contracts in the NFL. Also Bosa has been a huge non factor since the injury.

I will say that we can nickel and dime the play calling all we want. There is truth to problems there, but the big problem is turnovers. You can't win consistently with three turnovers per game. The fact we did it in a victory last week makes it even worse. I could say something like we needs to get back to fundamentals but it is just a killer that we say again and again. I don't know if we're ever going to with this crew.

Brady said after the dolphins game that he thought he forced the run too much. Brady is the problem.

I think it's really true though that once again the defense looked totally different with Bernard out. I hate to say this cuz I feel for the guy but he's not cutting the mustard.

We weren't committed enough to the run. Cooks big runs our case in point why we need to stick with it.
