Wow, terrible fire. Ovid is a nice little town, hate to see that. -

The AFC Championship game is not sold out yet

New York State taxpayers money...it's free! They did the same thing in Corning/Elmira. Spent $30M+ to upgrade an airport with 2-3 working gates (out of 4). At least Rochester has a real airport. -
I saw an interview with him and he said he was looking up at the scoreboard as he ran and saw the Ravens players coming up behind him and knew he had to hold on tight to the ball.

About as perfect weather for football as one could expect in the winter in KC. -

A chip that knows when the player is ruled down? That would be something. -
I agree, and yet Allen also made zero mistakes and avoided sacks (1 for 1 yard) given the play calling he was given.

Bills vs Ravens Divisional Round
Bob Chandler's Hands replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hear you. I wasn't so much thinking Williams is trying to play safety. More like they are playing a 4-3 with 3 CB's and 1 safety in the defensive backfield. Probably a lot of man defense. Obviously this is only when the Ravens are in a clear running formation. I recall the Siran Neal usage example. Note: I know almost nothing about the X's and O's...I have just watched football for coming up on 5 decades so it's truly a fat guy on his couch opinion here. -
Bills vs Ravens Divisional Round

I definitely do NOT know anything, but it seems like there would be a scheme within the existing defense to take Damar out for Dorian and leave Taron in the game. From a pure skill set perspective, this seems like the "obvious running down" lineup. That said, the Bills defense is highly Safety dependent so perhaps there is no such scheme, and it would constitute an 'overhaul', which I think is not wise to do within a week. -
Bills vs Ravens Divisional Round

The problem with this approach with Lamar or Josh is they are extremely difficult to hit. They both have a very high sense of spatial awareness and are quick and strong, and in Josh's case he's big as an Ox and in Lamar's case he is generally the quickest & fastest guy on the field. Also they are both protected by the QB sliding rules. -
Marcell Dareus Arrested in Alabama on DV Charges

The most disappointing thing is this will probably prevent him from being the "Legend of the Game" in the AFC Championship next Sunday. -
Any Ray Davis injury (concussion) updates?
Bob Chandler's Hands replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen rarely sets his receivers up for big hits. He's exceptionally good at avoiding those. That said, he was under pressure and lofted it up there to try to make a play, thus putting Davis in a precarious position. But then the Bronco's defender committed a personal foul. He even raised his hand afterward like a basketball player indicating he committed the foul. It happens. -

Doing his best to pass the virus on to Lamar. -
Yeah the standing the whole game thing is maybe the last 10 years. So stupid. I mean, sure stand for big plays at the end of the game or as a TD or turnover happens but otherwise, why? You're so far from the field anyway it's not standing suddenly gives you a better perspective. The new stadium dropping from 72k to 62k will make tickets more scarce from a supply perspective. Of course the cost will be higher too, so that will dampen demand.

Literally no one is overlooking KC, the two time defending Super Bowl Champ with the best regular season record in the NFL this season. -
Broncos at Bills Sunday 1pm (confirmed)

I went over to www.milehighreport.com to see how this game looks from a Denver perspective. I found this gem under their staff's keys to the wildcard game: Score more points than the Bills The Broncos are now 10-0 when they outscore their opponents. That will be key once again this Sunday as they face Josh Allen and the explosive Bills offense. Denver needs to score more points than the Bills with the assistance of its defense to slow down the Bills offense. If the Broncos do that, they’ll advance to the next round and face the Chiefs. — Scotty Payne Makes a lot of sense. I mean, the Broncos are undefeated when they outscore the other team - that's amazing! https://www.milehighreport.com/2025/1/8/24338703/broncos-vs-bills-nfl-wild-card-preview-bo-nix-sean-payton-josh-allen-sean-mcdermott -
Black Monday...who gets canned?

Rex Ryan to the Jets would be such a gift to Bills fans. Not unlike them giving up draft assets for a washed up and selfish Aaron Rodgers two years ago. -

2022: Cook, Bernard, Shakir, Benford (4 quality starters) 2023: Kincaid, Torrence, Williams (2 quality starters and a solid back-up. only had 6 picks) 2024: TBD but Coleman, Bishop, Carter, Davis, Pran-Granger, Ulofoshio, Soloman, Grable, and even Hardy may all develop into good players Most teams would kill for drafts like those. 6 starters on a 13-4 team. -
Week 18 Rooting Interests

Has to be bad. Aside from the horrible concussion issues, this is the same guy who had major hip surgery in college. He's just not physically built for the NFL. -

I'd love to see a hobbled Tua (he's going to miss his second game in a row this week) or Tyler Huntley lead the Dolphins to frigid Orchard Park to be absolutely pounded by the Bills, yet again. That said, bringing rookie Bo Nix and the Broncos to Buffalo is fine as well. Would prefer to avoid the Burrow/Chase/Higgins show.
