    Do we care? He's not going to be dressing ahead of AJE, Groot, or Bosa for sure. The coaches clearly like Solomon more at this point with an extra year in the system compared to Jackson. Solomon was a healthy scratch often times last year. Hoecht will be coming back after week 6 at some point. I always thought this pick was to develop him for next year anyways when likely AJE and Bosa may both be gone. Jackson's sitting is just indicative of roster depth and the desire to develop talent for the future.

    Yes, but Hollins is making $4.2M per year and Gabe is almost certainly on an NFL minimum salary. These things matter when you've spent up to the cap and beyond.

    Addressing what is the question. We really have no idea. Bass was out there for the 3rd pre-season game. Maybe he just tweaked something yesterday? Myabe they are just doing due diligence on some kickers. It's not clear.

    I think they are two evenly matched teams. A blow out either way seems highly unlikely in Buffalo. Agreed that Henry has been the X-factor in some games against his teams in recent years...except for the games where they shut him down pretty good. The only thing I can think of that increases the odds of a blow out either way is the increased variability week 1 brings with it being the first real game with changed rosters from last season on both sides. A loss and getting 'rolled' are two different things. I can easily see a loss. Getting handily beaten at home would be a big surprise, at least to me.

    Bills were 10-0 at home last year including beating the Ravens and Chiefs. You think they're gonna 'get rolled'? Wow.

    Rashee Rice hearing will be Sept 30th. So he gets to play in the Chiefs first four games, then is likely suspended. I expect a 4-game suspension with him set to return in week 9....vs. Buffalo.
