  1. Sorry I missed the press release
  2. In that case your continued fandom makes you a huge hypocrite.
  3. I'd like to see them trade back enough to get EVERY SINGLE PICK OF THE 5TH ROUND! Watching it on TV would be awesome. "And with the 116th pick the Bills, yet again, choose..."
  4. It would be nice if he stayed in Buffalo. Housing market has heated up some but I am sure he can find a nice place. But he should not be playing for the Bills.
  5. That's not the direction I was going with my comment, but as usual you miss the point.
  6. It means the metric is highly contextual. In isolation, it's meaningless.
  7. I leki this development. Let's hope good fotu-ne results.
  8. You start out your argument by stating that the Bills signed two starters on the very good offensive line. So what if the rest of the guys were bottom of the roster "Just a Guys"? Teams need a bunch of those guys. And so what if the two RB's are now out of the NFL? Harris suffered multiple injuries and Murray is about 87 years old. (Even accounting for Poona Ford having a good year after leaving Buffalo)
  9. He's really more of a punt catcher.
  10. Not at all. If they draft a WR high, it's a strong 5th receiver (including behind Shakir as any of the others could go to the slot if needed). That's what good teams do, they build depth to overcome the inevitable injuries that happen. Same with DT. So what if Carter becomes a healthy scratch, or they decide to cut Daquon Jones who is at the end of the line anyway? They are plugging all the holes so they don't have to draft from a position of need and are able to create competition and depth. It's excellent.
  11. Wait, are we going to draft Keon Coleman again?
  12. Then we should be OK here as it's Hendrickson's second team as he played 4 seasons in NO prior to 4 in Cincy.
  13. If he could just get consistent for once I could see Allen winning an MVP....oh wait
  14. You forgot Joe Dufek
  15. Goddammit, I am sick of nonsense off-season posts already
  16. The Mahomes trade was fine. It was for a draft pick, not Mahomes. The teams who got fleeced were the 9 teams who picked before the Chiefs who didn't take Mahomes. The Worthy trade hasn't played out yet.
  17. This is a loser mentality. It's saying "you're smarter than me and I know it". Screw that. If the deal is good for the Bills, take it. It doesn't matter who the deal is with.
  18. Agree. They sure as hell aren't drafting a guy who is 6'1". Coleman aside as he is TBD, hitting on two of seven of these mid to late round picks is actually not bad. Most 4th+ round receivers do not work out in the NFL.
  19. It's about value vs. the next best available option. How much better was Cook vs. Davis or Johnson? How much better is Shakir vs. whoever else they could put in the slot? It's a small gap vs. a large gap. Market economics, check it out.
  20. When do we reach peak off-season nonsense threads? This one is pretty good, but we're not there yet.
  21. I don't know...McD doesn't report to Beane, he reports to Pegula. All the other coaching searches (Bills and Sabres) Pegula is intimately involved.
  22. The proponents of "move on from McD" are all assuming that of course the next coaching hire will get them over the hump. Which is more likely: the Bills get to the AFC championship game again and this time make one more play and win it, or an entirely new coach can come in and retool on the fly and achieve more success than McD. I think it's 50/50 McD can get this squad to a Super Bowl. It's probably less than 10% chance that Pegula can hire someone better. Why do I think that? -Rex Ryan -The Sabres
