Everyone wants the quick fix... we already know that McBeane takes a measured approach. IF something was there that fit and made sense, they would have done it. But they have a plan and are sticking to it. Sometimes the best moves are trades that don't happen, we never hear about them of course. But a good bargainer knows how to walk away from a deal, and I believe we are best served by Beane doing his thing, he has proven to be a dealer.

I am actually more with you than it might appear. All I am saying is that I expect they are shopping but are not going to act out of desperation. If the sticker price is too high then I don't expect them to make a move just because they "have to".

A move that fits the team and the long term goals.

Beane is not going to make a panic move. IF the right move is there, he will consider it and maybe take it. They have been very clear about their intention to build for the long haul. A top WR would be great of course, but I would not be surprised or upset if they don't make a move at all.

The core of the team is young. Take out guys like Gore and Lorenzo and the roster age is much younger.

They are a young team growing up together... the fun is just beginning.
