    But maybe they recognized the rapidly diminished value on their hands? Not saying it's a slam dunk by any means. But from a future perspective this is a good move, especially if they knew it was over and would be off the team beyond this year anyway.

    My understanding is that qualifying contracts is simply qualifying to appear on the chart. The cutoff is then determined by percentage basis as detailed by OTC.

    The two we have signed so far are (likely) below the threshold to impact the formula.

    The formula is based on the CBA, and it clearly states it is top 5% for 3rd round. Making a change to only 2 no matter what the formula says doesn't seem right unless it was officially updated.

    Don't need the Browns to lose unless the Ravens lose two. So just need Chiefs and Jags to lose one each. And Ravens beat Miami.
