They "coached" the fire right out of him
-
An insult to Schottenheimer
-
He literally has the worst coach and fewest resources any QB with top talent has EVER had. You see inconsistencies, but most people know that the level he has reached with the trash he's been given is remarkable
-
Stop. Just stop
-
The defense has never really been good, it's built to stop the pass, so it's best weapon has always been quick starts by Josh. Give them a lead, make an offense one dimensional and they can look great. But they lack size, physicality and a coach who can adjust accordingly. But I'm sure we'll spend even more cap dollars on it this off-season. What could go wrong?
-
THANK YOU. We've given unlimited resources to a terrible scheme and coach, and people blame Allen every week for the fact that the scraps after Diggs can never win one on one. Or the fact that he instantly has to move every other play
-
I got mocked last week so I'm sure those posters will be back. But this clapping moron with his terrible defense and worse game management, must go
-
Another absolutely pathetic BY DESIGN mess, but I look forward to getting mocked again
-
Or the Bengals offense or the Texans offense
-
An untimed down that was the correct call... the 2nd one should have without a question been called too, who knows why they swallowed the whitsle, but that's the mvp play Johnson on Kelce should be a rollicking good time come December
-
Find this thread come January. And then again in March and April when every off-season move we make goes on defense because this will finally be the year that works lol
-
I actually never said they got shredded LAST night, merely that this ***** defense routinely does when it counts and has never adjusted to that. HOWEVER, one could certainly surmise that giving up 60 yards on the ground in about 30 seconds, right after your admittedly struggling offense gives you a lead, just might be a same ***** different day scenario
-
It's like you think Mahomes or Lawrence Or Burrow won't get that yard. Tyrod and some rejects, and we needed ref help. Stop
-
Johnson shouldn't be covering him. Simple
-
You tell me, ran a 9 play drive with 2 huge runs in the 4th behind the worst oline in the league. Than a 13 play drive where the refs were the defensive mvp
-
Happens EVERY year. EVERY year, the defense is USELESS. Despite all the capital poured in and a defensive coach. And people in here are like, look at the offense. You mean the one with no resources and the one that just waits for Allen and Diggs to make it happen. Your offense problems are 100 percent a philosophical choice by McBean. And the defense has never once backed up that choice. Generational talent wasted on a bad coach
-
An idea then, get one, instead of 7 rotating DTs lol
-
Congratulations we stopped Tyrod and his usfl crew, who still moved the ball pretty effectively. I'm sure he'll be the January matchup, it's fine People say this every year, then we play the heavyweights and get mauled, same warning signs are here, except this time it's even worse
-
If your best tackler in the second level is 5'11 and 196, that might be why you're getting shredded. I get that the D is small by choice, but some of it is beyond dumb. Team will continue to be held back by absolutely dreadful philosophy and in game coaching
-
I understand nickel is our base D, but how many times must one get shredded on the ground before you change it up sometimes? Or even just read a situation? Clappy calling his NBA time outs last night to act like he's making changes, winds up with 5"11 Johnson on 6"6 Waller, just lucky they didn't call the penalty. The lack of adjustments and awareness is mind numbing

He was actually able to adjust at least. Something mcd has never done
-
This game should tell everyone everything they need to know about mcd. A bad coach, full stop. Entirely incapable of adjustments. Calling his goddamm timeouts like it's the nba. What a hack

Frazier and/or his System hurt player development

This is no question the truth. Ironically it's why I still don't fully trust McDermott -
Tre White Injury Updates (Torn Achilles now confirmed)

Feel for him for sure. On the football side at least cb is fairly unimportant in this defense. Elam in. Just let him grow -
To All You Dorsey/McD Haters What Say You Now ?

Despite all the capital spent on D over the years, and having a defensive HC, good Qbs have toasted us for years. As far as the run goes, gotta absolutely pack the box to stop the run, leads to negative plays, but also stuff like the Breece Hall run. Can't get anything done with 4 at all, this D is the same story but worse
