Why would beane go? And this post is written like ending the drought is good enough
-
Your object certainty in the face of ALL available evidence at least gives me something fun to come back to when this goes down in flames. Dorsey didn't let Mac Jones and Russ go 49/59
-
Keep thinking beating Zac Wilson is good enough. And remember when we missed the playoffs the lost games to Zac and Mac Jones, and cling to this dinosaur of a coach
-
One game against a hapless team doesn't make that obvious
-
I think a turnaround wastes another year on a bad game day coach with an outdated philosophy that's led to poor roster construction. You say implosion, I say improvement. I almost dread a playoff berth
-
Starting to wonder if some injuries are on this defensive philosophy too, undersized, can't solo tackle, leads to more piles
-
This is pretty accurate I feel like. Ironically the defense was horrendous that half too, as it usually is. But Mcd doubled down instead of souring
-
This. And the thing I don't think gets talked about enough, is his defense, it's never actually been good. As a defensive hc, he's somehow gotten away with it never being good. Maybe if it was, his style of offense wouldn't be so obsolete
-
A defensive head coach, besides Belicheck, who's defense was awful and had Brady, hasn't won an SB since 2016, and even that was an outlier, with Manning. This coach is 30 years behind the times and his game day management is not existent. You're This boards Mcd, your posting not to lose, you're OK with average, all while we have the most talented QB our fan base will ever see
-
The best defense even in good years was Allen. He buried teams early turned them into pass only. Skewed every stat, they've never actually been good despite having a defensive coach
-
But when a team is built exactly how the coach wants it, character over talent, quickness over size, 18 defensive lineman. This team is a reflection of its coach, and his old, tired, philosophy
-
Good coaches hide defiences mediocre coaches can't fix them, bad coaches create them, like McDermott
-
Guys it's definitely the OC, and not the guy that let Russell Wilson and Mac Jones complete 49 passes in 59 attempts
-
Dorsey being fired is actually worst case scenario. But here we are. Hes gonna promote Joe Brady, tell him to do whatever he needs to in order save his job. Which he likely can with even small improvement. You'll see Allen run etc. But come the off-season he'll get neutered too
-
Yup, exactly
-
What overrule do you even want there?
-
Brought up scoring too fast lol. Hope Dorsey kicks him in the nads
-
You just called 2 TO to make them rush why are you rushing too? What's the point? Get the fg team out there on your timeout. Lose em all. Fire em all
-
Given what we know of the HC, it's impossible to completely rule out some influence in the offense. It's safe and vanilla, perfect for Mcd.. but last year many were saying Dorsey took too many shots, it just feels like mcd and not Dorsey
-
Mcdermott created that. Compotent coaching will correct that in about 5 seconds
-
C'mon Man, Past the doom and gloom. Give Your Game Balls.

Even Dorsey would be better without mcdermott. Attack the problem at the root -
Regarding number 4, that's laughable
-
I'd say it's part McDermott and part the receivers
-
And one timeout for the opposing team, McDermott would run 3 times and trust his punter and D. Taylor immediately put the game in his best players hands and won. Taylor plays to win, McDermott plays not to lose. Fans and players deserve better

What stars will you find If you're trying to build a DL rotation through the draft? They almost never took the best player, just a scheme fit, and when the scheme sucks, here we are
