Brady fumbled against the Raiders and had his knee destroyed in a legal, but unfortunate play.

Um cite me another time a player pulled a Gronk and head hunted a prone player after the whistle. Your sentiment is we "Ignore it...Pretend it never happened...Encourage it"? lol

Ryan Shazier update - spinal surgery
Bing Bong replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly, at that moment, Gronk straight wanted to give White a Shazier injury. Like he tried his damned hardest. -
Football - A violent game, Sportsmanship VS Thuggery
Bing Bong replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What if players are treated like civilians after the whistle. If a cop saw a huge man curb stomp a prone stranger on the ground that's game over. That man does not get the benefit of society, is denied privileges of being in society. Gronk lost the privilege of being treated like any other NFL player, he's denied sportsmanship. See: Burfict. That's just how any organized group of humans naturally works. Gronk temporarily lost his mind and proved he is a danger outside the boundaries of the sport. Criminals do the same thing. Screw Gronk. -
TNF - Saints v. Falcons

Ryan doing his best Peterman impression. -
who coined the term, "the process" for the Bills? I hate it. You realize the 76ers stretch during the process was the most losing team in all sports history. For all that, they're decent and young right now, basically a worse version of the Celtics who didn't put their fans through all that BS process, and just turned it around. Mind you that's basketball where tanking is actually a viable strategy. I'm sure the Browns are really glad they tanked a year for Miles Garret.

Why didn't the Bills lose as EXPECTED in 2017?
Bing Bong replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. Credit to the team and coach for ignoring all the tank talk and just playing to win. I just want to see the team compete, forget flushing the toilet for a season. Let the GM plan for the future, and the team play for the present. -
TNF - Saints v. Falcons

Are you talking about the kick? That was incredibly dumb on the special teams. And just a dumb rule, just back them up and let them kick with zero seconds left. -

Anybody else annoyed at hearing the commentators talk about the Saints backup quarterback from BYU that plays special teams? I feel like I know his whole life story, and I don't care. Something to talk about that doesn't involve concussions I guess. Oof ryan just really blew it. Great play by Lattimore on Julio. These Saints have a great rookie class, not counting the BYU dude. -
"I really hope Hughes pile drives the current MVP candidate after the whistle. That's a good look for a 500 team." dangit gugny

I'll quote Rambo: they drew first blood. Take Gronk out so he doesn't throw another tantrum against a rookie. He proved he's dangerous on the field after the whistle.

Probably true ha, I'd like to think I would argue with anybody here applauding it. But it's hard to overcome the Pats hatred. yes but this thread is about their fans. Something I enjoy to complain about.
-
who cares? we get to feel morally superior to pats fans. 1. Glad this forum doesn't have an upvote/downvote system. 2. That forum sucks. I'll bet a lot of people here know more about the Patriots than most of them do 3. Real Pats fans are hard to come by, but the two good ones I know are mad at Gronk as well. I'd be upset if a Bill did that. (Dolphins fans I know are fed up with Jarvis) 4. I'm not going to even look at that website.. I just know. 5. Who is our dirtiest player? Hughes is a moron to the refs but I don't see any malevolence in his play.

we always run those damn draw plays on 3rd and long. I mean this graphic says nothing about actually getting first downs. Defenses will give Tyrod a completion for 10 if it's 3rd and 12.
-
Dang, he also scrambles for a 1st often too. Could probably rate him even higher based on that. Josh McCown has been very underrated the last few years. Too bad we never got him when we pushed for him.

The Warriors are so annoying to watch. They clearly don't care, already had a record breaking season and they know they can just coast to the playoffs. Rooting for Rockets in the Western.

Do you remember the first football game you went too?

Texas Longhorns. Cowboys for NFL. -
Eh, the Knicks need every game. Rat race for the 8 seed in the East with a 500 record to get knocked out by the Celtics.
-
False alarm. Geez it looked bad but KP missed 2 games. yes but your fellow fans are Boston scum.

ZTE Maven is less than $40. It sucks but does all the basic functions, call, text, browser, some select apps. With how often I've broken my smartphones it's a huge relief not caring less what I'm carrying on me.

Uncatchable pass %. Dennison's fault too ?
Bing Bong replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow I saw the title, skimmed the graphic, didn't realize this was receivers, not quarterbacks. not that Tyrod doesn't throw a terrible ball several times, but Zay runs some weird breaks in his routes. I bet that ill-fated Panthers throw counted as uncatchable, and you look at Zay's route and he takes so long throwing a ridiculous head fake before his break he doesn't have time to adjust when he turns for the ball. Wouldn't be surprised if that happened often. -

Tyrod is the best quarterback on the roster, probably comes cheap. Seems like we must be way under cap with all the roster gutting. Why not keep him? Competition is Taylor, Peterman, and Round 1 rookie QB? See who wins. That's me. I think the people in power are too smitten with Peterman to keep Tyrod. Honestly they've showed such brazen confidence in Peterman, I'm worried they just run with him as the only option next year. I'd only call a fade in that very situation if my receiver routinely wins his matchup throughout the game, like Plaxico playoff edition vs packers. As much as I want to complain about the trade, I really like Gaines. Thought he was just a throwaway add on at the time.
