  1. Who's that NC State screen name with the Confederate tagline that's always going on about how cam sucks Oh yeah it's Boyst lol
  2. I only do hot takes
  3. chicken and egg I guess, I'd argue he threw to his playmakers, as any quarterback does. Ours were at RB ,TE (WR was slim pickings). Didn't TT get criticized for not throwing to his TE (the middle) coming into his 2nd/3rd year? That's cause he had a playmaker in Swatkins.
  4. I'd start Baker over AJ. Regardless, just let the camp competition decide the starter. If Baker or AJ wins, who cares? The better quarterback starts. The Seahawks didn't blindly just let Flynn start a whole season just because they were scared of throwing their rookie to the fire. We don't need to protect rookies like they're some fragile baby.
  5. if he wins the spot, don't bench AJ after 1 bad game coach McD - sincerely, PT5P we miraculously made it with no WRs last year, can't count on that consistently.
  6. eh if our team plays a little more consistent, (some games our defense looked dominant), and some plays fall our way, and we don't bench him for Peterman against the best pass rush in the league for a game, say.. the Rams or Chargers or Eagles, then yeah, we'd have a chance. I wouldn't be too upset to see him start the season.
  7. I'd set the bar at Andy Dalton. He gets ripped on here, but he's not going away, Bengals are smart enough (IMO) to build around him rather than gambling for greener pastures. But he's not great by any standard, any worse and you don't have a franchise qb.
  8. just good enough, that's all. Has a capability to step up in important games. You win some you lose some, but you don't have to call for your starting QBs head year in and year out. Don't compare your QB to others, the Chargers were never like "crap Phil isn't Aaron Rodgers we need to draft another!". Just a quarterback that doesn't require you to spend every offseason thinking heavily about spending a pick on more quarterbacks rather than building a team. I'd say half the league has their franchise QB by this definition. That's all I ask for.
  9. no team/player hatred comes close to my Patriots hate.
  10. They're not big Dak fans. Even calling for Romo out of retirement haha. But pretty overreactionary just like any other fan base. And I hate the cowbows FWIW it ain't "you guys" with me haha. Dez is really overrated, looked good with Romo, but can only run 2 routes, and Dak doesn't like those routes. Which is fair, I'd be annoyed at my #1 having such a limited route tree on top of being a head case. And yeah, no Zeke really messed things up. Dak had a completely different offense than his rookie year for most of the season. Sounds like Jerry is actually being smart and making those adjustments. So bad series of events for Dak, but still a sophomore slump. Short of RGIII, a lot of top tier QBs after their rookie year have a few ups and downs before they really start going. I mean it's pretty hard to expect him to repeat as amazing of a year he had rookie season. It was so good I wouldn't be surprised if he ever tops it again. Still a franchise QB obviously. Sign me up for Dak for Pete straight up. Welcome to your first TBD fight Cambo. Not reading those long posts lol no dog in that fight. It's part of the hazing process.. forever. I got called a keyboard warrior for saying Pete shouldn't have thrown off his back foot while getting nailed. But nooooo he's a tough SOB, and I'm just a big kitty cat.
  11. haha super racist! JK, Why Steve McNair and McNabb? McNabb's a Cuse alumn! And he walked on to boeheim's basketball team! I dislike Daunte Culpepper for the record. Starting to dislike Winston because I always draft him thinking he's going to blow up one season, but he's so so so stupid. Also add Vick to your dislike list pls.
  12. Texas most of my life. They loved them some Dak until he did his best Tyrod impersonation last year. I'm pretty far removed from Buffalo as well so idk what the politics are there.. is the city liberal or conservative? I get a conservative vibe. No idea, someone enlighten me. I definitely don't see a racist vibe. But I don't think most fans are racist and see Tyrod that way, at least on this board, he simply never stepped up in clutch moments other than that prime time Seahawks game. Sadly I thought that game was his coming out moment. That said the comparisons to Lamar Jackson are incredibly annoying, and I completely agree with you on that point. For perspective, I'm convinced a decent margin of Panthers fans are for the most part racist, at least at the quarterback position, calling for Cam Newton 's head for Derek Anderson. What in world are they thinking. Just ask that 'confederate states of america' tagline dude from North Carolina. Big time Cam hater.. Cam's an MVP quarterback, and he still gets no love from Panthers fans because he chooses to slam his body towards linebackers to get a TD and plays the next game fresh as a daisy. It's like good rushing plays are bad for black quarterbacks. And Cam loves and embraces the south! Just don't see how you can slam him the way some do. I was a huge Vick fan when he was on the Falcons growing up. Atlanta loved him pretty sure. Made the game so entertaining, win or lose. Of course he's a dog psychopath now, so he can get whatever karma goes his way lol. Just my rambling thoughts. TLDR don't be racist folks. and apologies if I got too political there.
  13. droughts a bad word lol. Not a fan after that self demolition.
  14. They're good, So are the Bucks and they didn't have 3 years of misery. Not the way to build a team and keep a fan base for me. I wouldn't be a 6ers fan after that drought. 1 year in tanking in the NBA, is okay.. after that, just get better guys. Giannis is more fun to watch than any 6er, do love Ben Simmons tho.
  15. just sounds like on paper, we polished a turd. Don't want to get in a quarterback talk. but someone , OL coach, Tyrod, maybe even Dennison polished a turd. most likely Shady actually.
  16. They also had the worst sports run ever for a franchise. Winning percentage over like 3 years. Count me out. Even in basketball teams don't do that
  17. I didn't know enough about Maybin. Just knew we need a pass rusher so was like, "okay we got one". CJ was drafted with beastmode and Freddie, high first. and the worst part is the Bills took no hesitation to draft immediately lol.
  18. he's a team guy absolutely. Loved his OU teammates, and the feeling was mutual. Of course winning helps.
  19. absolutely Bell Ben and Brown don't really need much else in the offense. Bell doesn't need a line like most RBs. He's special like that. Ben knows that, as well as break plays to find AB.
  20. haha whatever, don't tell they don't produce studs lol. Hate Bama as much as the next guy (which actually is only half the Bills board for some ungodly reason). Other half feels like OSU.
  21. yeah I really don't care. I know absolutely nothing. Trust the Bills scouting department. Only time I was legit mad was the CJ Spiller pick.
  22. top 5 QB picks almost always start right away Did John Miller fall off the face of the Earth? I liked him circa 18
