  1. Any coach throwing his unpaid player under the bus like that is incredibly selfish. Even boeheim bothers me when he tries to spin a narrative to keep his players in college. Let these underpaid athletes get their worth. And be grateful their talent gets YOU paid. College coaches: Do whatever you can to set them up in life I don't care what beef you have, you're dealing with kids and you're a grown man.
  2. Hughes was great 2 years ago when everybody else was content to loaf it under Rex. Huge respect. Maybe he was just having a scheme problem but he always gives it his all even after pay day
  3. Maybe. But if you look back on every draft I don't see a spike in QBs drafted since the cap. Always around 2 or 3 I'd say. This year will probably be an aberration but it's quite far from when the cap was set. I don't want to do it right now but I guarantee I can tell you that the affect of cap is statistically insignificant in the number of first round QBs. Actually I kind of do want to do it. You pose an interesting point.. I just don't think teams are taking advantage of it (if that's what you think is or should be happening)
  4. Less pressure, at the end of the day the QB will always be confident he's got something going for him. Good for you AJ.
  5. You win Niagara, have fun with your boring screen name and being a real hoot at parties. I'll stay topical on what happens in Bills historical events, because I can.
  6. I'd prefer a wr. The fact that O'Leary made our best catches this year, I think we are ok there
  7. It's called humor. A record that may never be broken! But thanks for the personal attack. And yeah of course I want Peterman doing well.. he's a bill dummy
  8. Great name Lol how about we draft that WR
  9. Hapless for poster of the year. The PotY.
  10. I mean a. This guy is on a bills forum so has more interest than the average fan and b. This is the breaking point?! You made it past the Juaron years bud
  11. We complained about tyrod throwing outside when that was with swatkins and woods while clay wasn't on the team or was in his first year. Then last year we complained about him only throwing to clay (over the middle) and shady, he rarely threw outside. Me thinks like any other quarterback he was just throwing to his best players, the ones he felt comfortable with. Kelvin Benjamin is so dynamic he's hit one 1000 yard season.. barely.. with cam Newton. The same quarterback who threw Steve Smith for 1400. There's a dynamic receiver. Jury is still out on Kelvin IMO. And you want a quarterback that throws off his back foot and across his body?? I agree scouts know more than we do but I don't see any other point you make having anything to do with Baker, nor do I agree with those points
  12. I wanted Terrel Pryor
  13. I mean do we not have the cap for a marquee signing?
  14. who cares if he doesn't run.
  15. I mean can we be honest here, we would have had nobody at quarterback if Rex didn't bring in Taylor for pennies. He wasn't the greatest but for pete's sake look at the training camp battle he won.. EJ Manual and that Ohio St dude (already blanking on him).
  16. I'm going to be Savior Baker on this forum. Watch out folks.
  17. Only one season. That was an amazing version of Vick. It was his first year back he subbed in for like Kolb on injury and just straight blew up. Could have been MVP if he played all year. It was like the football rust made him at his freshest happiest he had been his whole career, just having the chance to ball out without caring about the consequences, he had nothing to lose. His career makes for a great story I'll say that. I guess Lamar has that ceiling but that was a perfect storm of Vick in his final years of prime with nothing to lose, and a redemption agenda. I don't think that kind of quarterbacking happens again. It is NFL lore not to get too cheesy.. Comparable to Tommy Maddox's one year one wonder. Or Flutie's resurgence. Delhome etc.
  18. I'm starting to leave the jameis bandwagon. He's holding the team back every game I watch. Doug Martin doesn't help. Thought he was a stud I mean who doesn't want to be called muscle hamster?!
  19. Dammit meade Do we really dream about the NFL draft? My only bills dreams are me quarterbacking them to a Superbowl
  20. I seriously doubt he had much playing time. And that was more the standard for rookie receivers back then. Moulds was my favorite playmaker growing up. Yeah nowadays wrs come in ready. Randy Moss paved the way
