  1. My approach was more about just who we got not who we missed. i'm sure the team that took the next CB is PO'd. Plus mcd needs the QB of his choice. As we discussed we really had no idea who was drafting
  2. Arguably still one of the best receiver classes ever. I'd say it is the best ever IMO. Just cause talent wants deservedly more money doesn't mean that were a bad class. Most knew they were putting prior rookie WRs to shame (best rookies since Moss) and wanted compensation and we're disgruntled. Hate to say it but KB is the weakest among those top 5 or 6 from what I've seen. And he's still a stud
  3. But no he wasn't good to great. But I think he certainly did have a vision. Win now is a vision. Just short term
  4. He was in win now mode. Which is really your best option in the AFCE let alone the NFL this age. And we could have done well if we kept Schwartz under that strategy But no he wasn't good to great. But I think he certainly did have a vision. Win now is a vision. Just short term
  5. Agree. But we never got or shoot for a vet WR mayhaps KB. was calling for Terrell Pryor. Anyways it's always chicken and egg with that. Admittedly the quarterback is 75% the egg that came first. But that 25% is a good chunk more important than TBD wants to admit. I knew the game scoring against the jags would be ultra low scoring. Bortles and tyrod. 2 great secondaries. 2 bad WR corps. A plaxico burress playoff performance wins that game with any competent quarterback.
  6. We lament on throwing QBs to the fire and then say things like this. Get good WRs and our QB will develop in a real NFL offense instead of tossing it up to KB with no speedsters and route runners getting open
  7. I don't completely agree with that, but of that's the case then we were horribly inept at getting WR depth. That's like saying deonte Thompson last year was like a montee ball 5 years ago. If they're a dime a dozen we certainly didn't land anyone with promise. Or seem to be making any attempt now.
  8. I'm in the minority that he was a decent GM. took a Gamble and screwed up. Had us on the verge of playoffs before we got wrexed But his supporters are such ****s . Getting cyberbullied over my screen name. I love my screen name.. it's harmless fun folks!
  9. I 100% agree with your listing. Although nate Peterman fans have been straight wrecking me lately. Where was the love for Levi brown??
  10. Huh? I just want to talk football and not draft. I like my bills team. Not bitter or anything lol. Don't be rude at my failure of a thread
  11. Man this thread sucks. I thought it would be a fun off-season break away from speculation and back to what is actually on the roster. I suck at making threads
  12. Winning tends to have that effect on athletes. That's why I hope McDermott isn't ultra stubborn with his character values. It's good to have a team chock full of character but on a winning team the disgruntled yet talented become happy and productive.
  13. Man this thread sucks. Yet another one I make no one cares about.. thought it would be an interesting topic for off-season talk haha
  14. Yeah I was unclear on who did the drafting. I'd hope McDermott as well. But I guess we're all in the dark on that one. Maybe he was taking marching orders from beane on the side? But sounds illegal if beane was still employed by Panthers.
  15. I'm downtown Dallas over here. I assume proper protocol is to get drunk and boo the Patriots pick and boo goodell. Maybe smash a few tables while I'm on fire before to get in the right mindset.
  16. Yeah I guess I'll try the lottery but sounds like that's a pretty small selection
  17. I'm pretty sure it's Brady. He's the common denominator.. unless you count Ernie lol. never seems to have any problem with changes to his offense every year. Beli just runs a mediocre defense and let's Brady be Brady
  18. Serious question.. how do you get tickets??
  19. I'd be okay with it. I think the FO drafts well.. and it feels like we've drafted terribly AND never gotten a QB since we've been in the bills dark ages. I'd at least like one of those things to change. Baby steps boys. Those Juaron teams were so god awful
  20. It's the off-season. I'll talk about any hypothetical scenario because that's pretty much all there is to talk about So yeah, I think it would be pretty fun to see how Brady and OBJ would interact
  21. Dude people grade drafts right as they happen. But anyways missing Watson sucks and all, but I'm of the belief that if we drafted as well as I thought we did last year, this FO could make a killing with our draft capital. I'd love a great QB as much as the next guy but don't under appreciate the impact 2 or 3 good drafts in a row will have on a team. That's cheap talent for several years
  22. TBD has spoken. The quarterback makes the receiver. Larry Fitzgerald praises the heavens for all the great QBs that made him the stat monster he is. Without Josh mccown and Derek Anderson, drew stanton, Larry would have had a short career because he is a WR, a receptacle for quarterbacks, and that's all he'll ever be, and his passing offenses would have been naught. /HeavyS
  23. I know these guys were rookies and jury is still out so pls don't bash me on my opinion, I'd like to know what TBD thinks in general. But how do you think FO did one year out from the 2017 draft? Trading down for Tre White? Perfect pick right thurr. I fear Zay is a bust Dion Dawkins was another great pick. Great value really. Anybody know the learning curve for O linemen in the NFL? He was a decent starter as a rookie so I'd imagine he could be a rock on the line for a long time. But if O linemen come come in NFL ready and he doesn't improve I'd just call him mediocre. But still. Great value. Matt Milano could be a steal. I admit he might be over hyped on this board since we saw so little of him until late season. But I'll say good player, phenomenal value. Peterman could be a solid backup, great value again there. I love his rebound from the Chargers game, just having that amnesia mentality. he played as well as any backup could otherwise and did so as a rookie quarterback. No small feat. That said he was dumb as dirt against the chargers. I don't even know if Tanner Vallejo is on the team. Someone enlighten me. Whatever, late round pick. I grade it A+. We didn't have many picks but all the rookies contributed. I think the late round value we got and especially Tre White alone overshadows Zay potentially being a big miss.
  24. I agree but I'd take Bart starr off that list lol
