12/15/24 Week 15 Bills @ Lions Game Post Game Thread
billsfan3482 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
No one said we need to shut down the Lions. But with this defense, all the pressure is on Allen NOT to make a mistake. How about Mcdormett and his staff give Allen alittle breathing room, so when he scores 4+ TDs a week it doesnt come down to the last 12 seconds. -
It would be nice to see Allen discussing/planning/scheming up something with a legit OC instead of just sitting there alone. I believe Allen really benefited from Daboll holding him accountable for mistakes and explaining to him how to do things differently on the sidelines. I mean who is there to coach/help Allen?? Mcdormett has his defense that he knows the ins and outs and can coach any player as needed.

10/6/2024 - Bills at Texans 1st half game thread.

I wonder what new, young, inexperienced trash coordinators McDermott will bring in after Brady and Babich are fired. -
Its crazy but I'm jealous of Detroit and how well campbell has that team playing? 3rd year coach has his team ready and playing hard every week, the team is playing like a well oiled machine. Hell, we almost lost to them last year. I personally feel like they will beat the 49ers with ease and go to the super bowl. Mcdormett has gone as far as he can go. The proof is in the zero progress we make every year. He cant beat the chiefs in the playoffs, Burrow and the bengals seemed to move the ball with ease against this defense. Id hate to have a OC Brady affect again, when he took over and had success, we all including myself said "Dorsey should have been fired SOONER".

Can we bring the Beasley/Mckenzie role back already?
billsfan3482 replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
What I remember and missed the most about Beasley was no matter if it was 3rd and short or 3rd and long he seemed always open for a guaranteed 1st down. Sometimes he got hit hard as ***** after, but it moved the chains. It sucks talking about how great or unstoppable our offense was, when it wasnt even that long ago and its the same regime. -
Brandon Beane admitting fault & not learning from his mistakes.
billsfan3482 replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall
100% this. The offense started the season strong and then went to looking lost. There is Zero creativity, no ability to counter a defense. Its, try a run or Allen throw a 50 yarder. If Dorsey was improving and evolving we would see it. I cant stand the chiefs, but I'm jealous of their great coaching staff that's gets it DONE!! 2 super bowls for them.. While bills fans, are banking on an inexperienced OC somehow improving his 2nd year to something great.. -
The misuse of Cook and Hines was borderline criminal
billsfan3482 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
We can watch any game during the season, non bills related and say, wow look at that play, or why cant we run that or have it in our playoff. If this is a copy cat league, he should be taking plays from every game/team. Our offense is bland and uncreative. I think Reich would be great. He'd give us a run game and I think would work great with allen. -
Exactly. We need an experienced Offensive guru type of OC. I think Dorseys a play caller!! Not a offense mind of technics and schemes to put players in position to succeed. I think Reich is that guy, his offense gave us trouble without an Allen type of QB. I think he would give us a run game and work great with Allen We've seen no difference or improvement all year on offense, Zero creativity. I don't see him "upping his game next year at all" Like, is he going to design plays over the summer? Is he going to google football offensive plays? Hell, while watching tape of other games he could have easily stole some creative, fun or easy plays and put it in our playbook.

Can Sean McDermott Coach the Bills to a Championship?
billsfan3482 replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
I voted No. I strongly believe if the staff stays the same with just some roster moves. We might as well pause these threads until Jan 2024. Because nothing will change, soft defense, hero ball, no creative offense, STILL no run game, and Nyheim Hines will still have a limited roll because he's learning the offense. Teams make trades and players play almost immediately. Our offense struggled and we couldn't find ways to use Hines or Cook who looked quick and decisive. Time to move on to new ideas and schemes. -
In all this back and forth, I think to my self. Not if, but how many SB's would Belichick win with Allen and his defensive schemes? Or what would McVay or Kyle Shanahan scheme up with a QB like Allen. HELL Dan Campbell would of lit a FIRE under these guys on Sunday. His players played hard this year and they weren't on a path to the super bowl. We had a chance to go to the superbowl and BOTH sides of the ball didn't show up??? ***** that. No more chances. After the first half performance we should be hearing stories of mcdormett at half time laying into the players and demanding they wake up and player there game.
-
Thinking of this possibility just makes me laugh and pissed off at the same time.. Literally NOTHING will change if the staff stays the same. NOTHING. We might as well stop bickering, and start a thread for "Jan 2024" and bounce ideas of how the coach and staff get out coached again! We need new ideas, schemes and tough talented players. This Character non sense ran its course.. How the ***** does every position in a playoff game look unprepared and uninterested.

How many chances will McDermott get?
billsfan3482 replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel we need to move on. WHO trusts or believes things will be different next year if we keep him. I don't! If the staff stays I don't care how many moves we make or who we draft. The results will be the same. Cincy, KC and SF fans have to be ecstatic to have great talented players with competent coaches. We got Allen, Diggs and a coach who loves character players only. And i'm sick of hearing they drafted so and so because he's a "character guy". -
Jets request to interview Joe Brady for OC
billsfan3482 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
OMG dont say that 😨 lol! How could we get any excitement going into next year knowing if this staff stays the same. -
Josh looked really defeated in his press conference.
billsfan3482 replied to bostonadguy's topic in The Stadium Wall
100%. We have nothing but hopes of Allen making a big play with his arm or legs. Chiefs and Cincy have smooth, creative schemed offenses. Thats why the comparison of which QB is the best is tough. Allen would flourish with a real offense.. Daboll was the closest person we had to that. -
Its wild, Daboll with less talent got just as far as the bills did this season. Just imagine they have a good draft (not relying on *****in character), get a better QB than Jones and out perform Beane and Sean the next 3-4 yrs. I see support for neither, both or 1 or the other. I just cant see how anything changes enough to get us over the top.. I don't believe either deserve more time to ***** things up or break our hearts again next year.
