So you’re saying your source is right because of Trapasso’s mock draft?  You’re using that as evidence?

No, we never read that bull crap, that is for casual fans to spark excitement and sell tickets.  We are into hard news not stuff anyone can find in the internet

I don't know, I honestly haven't watched much of him this season. Most analytical guys I follow seem to agree that he isn't doing anything more than he's done in previous seasons, but now he has good coaching and good supporting talent. IMO Thielen is the most underrated receiver in the league right now. But I can't argue with those stats and maybe he's progressed late in his career, it wouldn't be the first time in history. I wouldn't necessarily hate the move but I wouldn't expect anything great to come of it. Eventually the Bills need to shoot for a consistent top 10 QB and Keenum isn't that.

I see him like rich gannon and the raiders

If they had no plans to be good then they are not good judges of talent or coaches.  Many here thought with last years offense plus a good defense, there was a chance for playoffs. All the defense needed was better coaching and they got that. The fact they had no plan to win this season pisses me off

Most people were predicting 4 or 5 wins.  It was a retooling year. The thought we would be a tad better than the jets.  No one saw us going into to week seventeen with a chance at the playoffs.

Wrong. GMs are in attendance for games every week, regular season and bowl.

So so many of your posts make no factual sense. I’ve pointed it out on several occasions and you never respond. You either make up a lot of stuff on your own or this source if yours is purposely feeding you BS and you don’t realize it.

Name the gm that goes to the college bowl games?  Who was in attendance to watch Josh Allen?

My guess is that the Vikings franchise tag Keenum.

I'm wondering if the Bills would be interested in Bridgewater.

At one point the news out of obd was to target one of the Vikings quarterbacks they will only keep two, we can do worse.

The Browns regularly end up  with 1-4 wins and have managed to stay there for quite a while. Losing breeds losing.

Owner and front office.  If you have the right coach and gm, watch out. See the rams and watch out for sf

I didn't miss the point...as a fan I watch each game and hope to win...if playoffs are missed I look for ward to improvements in the offseason.. I would not want to be 0-15 at this point. There would be no hope if that was our record. The Browns are years away from even being decent

Agree, I would not want to be like the browns but let’s be honest here, we have overperformed.  The boys at obd wanted to be competitive but they had no plans to be this good.  Like I have posted several times, they tried to slow it down by starting peterman ( I did call it) but he played so bad if he didn’t go back to Taylor McDermott would have lost the locker room. That is why I posted Taylor is starting the rest of the year, playoffs of no playoffs.

Really? The guy is tearing it up this season. Think he's a one-year wonder? I guess it's possible.

He saved he Vikings season.  He wasn’t bad before.  He is a competitor and accurate. Give him time and he is dangerous see Alex Smith and cousins.  We are thinking the right way

How do you know the Broncos are targeting Josh Allen? Because he was their pick in a mock draft back at the beginning of December? The Jets love Baker Mayfield? Because some poster on the Jets board loves the idea?

If you're going to throw sh*t at the wall to see if it sticks, at least throw it toward the wall. You're aim is terrible.

Very few times a general manager is in attendance for a college bowl game.  Scouts yes, a gm no.  All signs point north my friend

I am sure you meant he was trash in the nicest way possible.  But it did probably come off a bit harsh...just a little....

I visited Dunkirk for Christmas.  Stayed on the lake, crazy windy.  Couldn't even make it to the 4th Ward for the big Christmas Eve bash.  Welcome Back...

    DD,

Help get some people to believe what you are saying.  Add more details and clearly define the information:

    1.  Where is the stadium being built?  East of Buffalo is too generic and you wonder why people do not believe - give the location.

    2.  You mention an announcement on extension of current lease to 2024.  OK - when?

    3.  There were trade talks about Cousins.  How does that work without Cousins signing a franchise tag? Explain the mechanism because it doe snot make sense.

    4.  Draft board - you said there was a draft board and then said there was info on players.  Very different things, be clearer.

If you don't give specifics then any vague items can be proven at some level.  Give more details, be exact and people will support.  Continue the current path and expect more of the same.

I am part of an investment group until our deal is signed I cannot share location. there will be an announcement coming out, I do not have the specific date,  I don’t work for the Bills I just heard about the extension.  I am not an expert of the mechanics just report what I am told.  The official draft board has not been built, just reports on players for the draft board. Most people understand draft board that is why I used that language

Because the Browns future looks so good right now

Teams that end up  with eight or nine wins stay that way for awhile. See the bills.  We don’t stink but we are not good.  No the browns stink. You missed the point, if you don’t make the playoffs it is better to really stink then just be bad like us.

Absolutkey not. It would be the best case scenario.

However, if we don’t get in the playoffs this season will be the worst season in 17 years.

Agree. If u don’t make the playoff it is better to be the browns

If they love Drew Lock, then they should love Rudolph. They both run almost the same exact  offense, but Rudolph does everything better.

They are not high on Rudolph he won’t become a bill

My source is very well connected in the league from his time at obd. He is making a few phone calls as time permits to some of his contacts to see what he can gather on potential teams drafting quarterbacks.  No one can be sure.  Look at the records of mcshay and Mel, they gather information and connect the dots the best they can

I still think Alex Smith makes the most sense.  Andy Reid is someone who McDermott can work with, coupled with the suspicion that he probably wants to start the Mahomes era.  It will be interesting to watch how Mahomes does this week.  I never put much credence in getting Cousins because 1) we would have to deal with Snyder and Bruce Allen in Washington, and 2) the amount of money Cousins will want.  A lot going against it.

Some posters have referred to McDermott as McEgo, and unfortunately this may be accurate.

I think smith is an above average quarterback definitely in the top 15 in the league.  Drafting a quarterback is tough, the college game really doesn’t prepare you for the nfl today.  It is a big gamble.  We won’t take Locke in the first round.  He is a third rounder at best

  13. 13 minutes ago, purple haze said:

5 picks in first three rounds. If they are after a game manager they won't be using more than one of those picks on a QB.  Also, Free Agency could help improve the D as well.

McD is a Defense guy.  He will get the players to run his system effectively.  I would bet this draft will be Defense heavy early, specifically LB, DT, CB and DE.

You are so correct.  On our board five of our top rated players are all on the defense of line.  They have identified two offense of adds to the offense.  It was a tough break for cadet, no bun intended. But they have identified a number 2 back.  We will like him if we can get him.  He is not flashy but great speed and durability

  14. With the broncos now  targeting Josh Allen and Darold and Rosen going 1 and 2,  the jets love Baker Mayfield, we now have a new number one target at quarterback according to my source for the draft.  Drew Locke is now our number one target if we draft a quarterback. From notes.  Good pocket passer, love his size.

If they want to try Peterman for a year Sam Bradford would be the perfect signing. His knees are a ticking clock so it's just a matter of time before we have to go with Peterman, but in the meantime we'd have a very solid QB hopefully racking up wins early in the season. Him or Bridgewater make the most sense. Keenum is as meh as it gets so I hope we ultimately don't go that direction.

There is the peterman camp at obd.  Let’s bring in a veteran and give the keys to the kid.  Other believe we are a few players and want a game manager.  We need a pass rusher and middle backer. They have grown tired of the Jerry act and he will either take a pay cut or be gone.  If we trade up for an unproven rookie, Shady will be on the block. That is in their plans.  Read there is no sense in keeping him.  I think the smith trade will heat up. Connection between andy and McDermott very strong

10 minutes ago, Happy Gilmore said:

If this is true, it is faulty logic on McDermott's part.  You can't count on the defense to hold better offenses to less than 20 points per game; not realistic with today's NFL favoring offense production.  Our offense has to score points, not just manage a game.

McDermott believes if our offense can average 24 points a game, we Can go deep in the playoffs with his scheme

  17. 5 minutes ago, McBean said:

If this is all true, it makes me sick at my stomach that this organization played the win now and later game this season.

We are not only going to miss out on the playoffs, but a 15 year starter in Sam Darnold.

Say it with me..Short...Term....Thinking. Every year with the Bills it’s “let’s get the drought off our backs!”

Bottom line if I was the owner of the Bills you keep Rex and the clown Whaley for another season and started Cardale Jones every game in 2017.

Then, hire a GENERAL MANAGER FIRST and start the process with a top 3 pick and tons of ammo.

Now, we will end up with freakin CASE KEENUM because we have 2 bottom of the barrel first round picks.

This organization has been clueless for so many years it makes my head hurt.

We are looking for a game manager, we believe that the defense will carry us

  18. On the stadium front, you may see an announcement coming out about extending the lease. Don’t panic, stop drop and roll. We will need to extend the lease for at least two years while the new stadium is being built.  I know when the extension is announced, people will begin doubting dd, just getting in front of the news.

Would you keep TT, or bring in a Fitz, Hoyer, McCown type QB to back him up? Chances are the guy will not make it through half of a season, let alone a whole one. Especially not with the current O-line situation.

There is talk in some camps at obd that peterman is their guy. If that is he case then we will sign a veteran backup

See my post on the stadium.  You will hear a lot of naysayers but I have posted many inside bills news prior to it being posted here.  They do not like my source

Source confirmed the following today.   Building the stadium will begin in 2022 with play beginning in 2024. The stadium will seat 67,500 people. It will be open air with natural turf.  The stadium will be part of a complex that will include the following: (1) Field house, (2) outside practice field, (3) Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame, (4) surrounded by mall and hotels.  Terry has insisted on the following things: (1) Must be fan friendly - parking facilities to accommodate tailing gating (2) Family family and (3) high tech.  The game day experience will be improved for families with children under the age 16.  Next to the field house and Bills Hall of fame a family entertainment center will be built. Throughout the year, there will be activities set-up for visitors.  Kids will be able pass, punt, and kick within the facility along with displays, video, and bills store.  On game day, only adults with children under the age of 16 will be admitted to the area.  Terry wants to ensure intoxicated people cannot enter.  At the field house each week, The Bills will be bringing back former Bills to people to meet.  There will be no charge to enter and no charge for autographs.

I am not an RV person but my source says this will be huge for those people with a RV.  RVs can arrive on Friday and there will be 25 premium spots for RVs close to the stadium.  The premium sites will have full hook-ups (Water, electric and sewer). Only season ticket holders will be able to rent these spots.  The stadium will have the most recent technology for game time experience.  Hard to imagine what will be available in 6 years.  Stadium will also feature satellite parking  with Bus service to gate for easy access to and from game. Terry wants at least 75 luxury suites.  One suite will be called the twelve man and will be auctioned off each week to raise money for charity and 100 game day tickets will be given away to needy children.

Stadium is east of Buffalo with easy access to Rochester and Toronto.  Needs corporate money for suites.  For the first three years, there will be a minimum fee for what there are calling, Seating Agreement License Tax (SALT) that will have fund stadium.  Terry does not want or think NY State will kick in money with public funds.

Coming soon more news on Cousins  as discussions are heating up behind the scenes.
