I'd say we havent put ourselves into a situation where we will have to make as many of those decisions. We are built differently. Parts are interchangeable. They are going to have 70M locked into 3 players on offense. I think you are wrong. I'd say 2 of them walk and poyer gets an extension that will give us cap flexibility.

Can do both and still do responsibly. Example. Aj green on a 1 year prove it and a rookie. You get instant production next year while you have money...and if it works you extend green but you bridge until rookie is ready regardless. Just like gore and Singletary. And btw...no long term commitment to weigh in cap for future years. Best of all worlds that our guys seem to get.

Titans used Bills defense as blueprint to stop Ravens
Hebert19 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Titans didnt really do much more than us on offense. They just got an early lead so they could lean on the run game. We never got that chance. -
I've said this for 2 years. We have been just like them. Difference is they didnt have 90M and a bunch of picks going into his 3rd year. They traded away all their picks for mack and to trade up for him and couldn't spend big in FA. Year 3 will be different because the team will be better and wont be just praying allen carries them.

AFC is terrible. Bills could beat any of these teams. Any give Sunday in AFC this year. Hope it's just the start for us and we didnt miss an opportunity

Who was debating me on Kirk cousins earlier. Pretty sure this display should end that. Not a clutch gene in his entire body. I'm a MSU fav and hes not won any big games -
Hyde and Poyer - Disappointing stats.
Hebert19 replied to Happy Days Lois & Clark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We had. They both regressed this year as I said in another thread. In our losses to the Pat's and houston at end of season...rewatch the game. Poyer and hyde both missed huge tackles that cost us points. Their tackling has been suspect this year and they were part of the early run defensive issues. Hyde had the biggest missed tackle of the game. -
He will want starter money. 15 to 20M. And he will get it. We pay Barkley like 3 million. I say we ride it at that rate. Opens up a lot more cap.

Roster turnover for playoff teams - ESPN
Hebert19 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Contrary to Beane's comments I think we will make a splash or 2 in free agency. I'd guess DE so we can draft tackle instead. More production from a first year stud tackle then a rookie DE usually -
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28447985/predicting-roster-turnover-all-12-nfl-playoff-teams-which-players-move Cannot get over what a marvelous job beane and McDermott have done. We have an average of 60M more in cap space than the other 11 playoff teams and 20+ million more than the next closest team. With no QB payday coming for a couple years we can continue to build a strong roster without breaking the bank. Crazy to think we had 50M in dead cap 2 years ago.

John Brown failure to toe drag
Hebert19 replied to Lieutenant Aldo Raine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He left his feet to catch and didnt need to. Number 1 statistically but not in ability. Need someone who makes the tough catches to be a clear number 1. John simply doesn't. He would be the best number 2 in the league in my opinion if we get a guy who commands the double teams. -
Hes a 1 truck pony. Give him a QB with elite running and suspect passing and hes nailed that.

Good Twitter Thread Breaking Down Allen vs. Houston
Hebert19 replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is where I am. He improves slightly next year and we have a solid QB capable of winning games with arm and feet. If hes able to make a similar jump as this year...we are in for a fun ride. In my opinion he is already the best QB we have had in 20 years. If he makes another leap he is the best QB we have ever had. -
Is Tre White worth top corner money?
Hebert19 replied to DuckyBoys's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. And him getting all pro I think helps us believe it or not. Tre is a good dude and wont be a diva in negotiations I dont think now that he knows he will get recognized in buffalo. If he was ignored again he would want to be top paid. Now I think we get a slightly team friendly deal.
