    Everyone loves to point this out. But without him...we didnt break the drought in 2017. So it wasn't that bad a move.

    What's not to like? We need corner depth. It's a prove it contract. And he was a pro bowler in the system (arguably the best corner in the league in the system)

    K. Feels like the new regime gets the value of the shorter term contracts as gap fillers similar to patriots so hoping we actually get to take advantage of it at some point.

    I look at it this way. Olsen had a bad year for him last year and it is better than any TE we have had in 20 years... Pair him with knox for a year which doesnt kill 2021 cap and hes just like any other vet signing this team likes to make. Vet that can contribute but nothing long term as we add via draft. Hes perfect.

    Well they do have 2 number 1s already in sammy and tyreek plus the best TE in the league so there is that.

    Well since he started the thread I might as well weigh in. The real question is who would you take knowing mahomes will get 40 plus million next year and they wont be able to afford the rest of the team like every other team that has thrown top money at a QB. See lions Falcons etc.

    Disagree. Look at how much allen advanced when we brought in DA. And DA is not near the cerebral QB that alex smith is. Tyrod is not that same guy. He cannot read defenses and relies on athleticism.

    No. Why? Because he may be the most over hyped player in the NFL. Someone will overpay for a guy who's averaging just over 5 sacks per season and has never had 10. It wont be us.

    I will continue to say while they are both nice players we should not overpay them. In this system there are a lot of people who could do their jobs. They regressed this year
