  1. We will be in the zone most of the day so no need. Keep the ball on front of us and tackle. That will be the key this game.
  2. So I was listening to Greg Cowell chat with Tasker and crew today and he mentioned the weather impact on bills passing offense so I thought I'd take a look at a few things. Besides the fact that knox and brown have either been hurt or playing hurt which makes a big difference. 1st bad game titans - yes. Wasn't a great game but it was also first time we saw a team drop 7 back in coverage. So he didn't adjust well. We also got behind due to the bad early interception and were flat in general. So lets call this a bad game. Chiefs - similar defensive gameplan. But the keys that people miss when they lump this in with the slump is...it was kind of ***** weather. Rain and windy. And the TOP was over 37 min for the chiefs. Offense hardly had any possessions because defense didn't get off the field. Not sure this shows any regression. Jets - windy. And he threw for 300+ and had the offense in scoring position 9 straight drives. Penalties killed us from getting more points. No regression there. Pats - gameplan was to run the ball. Was windy as hell. And Josh did what he needed to do as part of the gameplan. My point is...I'm not sure there really is a slump. Yes we aren't putting up points a record rates but the weather and opponents are a huge factor. This week. Bad defense. Good weather. We get back to where we started and have a huge offensive game.
  3. Almost every QB we face are not looking for deep passes. Fitz darnold carr tanny Goff all got ball out of hands immediately. Therefore pressure doesn't get home. Yes and no. Its also the fact that teams have 5 to 7 yard passes in middle of field whenever they want.
  4. Knox and brown back. We were going to have to outscore them anyway.
  5. San fran with no kittle and no Jimmy doesn't scare anyone on O...and their D is not as good as last year. This game isn't near as scary now.
  6. Agree. I'm just saying let's kick tires. I think Lee could he ***** too...but I'm willing to see.
  7. The grass on our side (klein) is dead. And has been for 27 years. There is no way the grass is not better on the other side.
  8. This is close to where I am. Instant classic and bills win with a 45 second drive after Seattle ties game.
  9. Agree. But I'd target him tbh. Off injury still a new defense. Chances are he's less than perfect this weekend.
  10. Me too. Hell I said we should trade back and take him later in the first and people laughed their asses off. Fail.
  11. This. I repeat anything that keeps Klein off the field. Weather its Beasley or Lee. I don't care. It's worth a look at anything that prevents Klein from playing another damn down.
  12. Couple things. For those complaining about Josh's numbers. Come on...this was a run first gameplan that worked. Some awesome wrinkles. And 2...look at the John brown catch and run. Diggs makes a great block and then the reaction after is awesome. Was giving Josh some love for a great check at the line. Perfect play call. Btw. Love his breakdowns. One of my favorite watches every week.
  13. My bad. A couple of his whiffs resulted in solid contact with the turf.
  14. Take a look at his snap count. Pretty low. His last game he was very highly rated based on his snaps.
  15. Klein hasn't hit anything other than air all year.
  16. Yes. He is. But could play the Zo role. Same type of player. Decent against run on early downs and rush passes on 3rd
  17. So I'm not usually the guy that posts these and haven't seen him this year...but for a team that needs: 1. A LB and 2. Defensive leadership could he be our answer to Zo for rest of year?
  18. I think we would have to also throw in a 2nd to justify and pretzel and a hotdog. Hes that bad.
  19. I think they finish 9-7 and could sneak into the playoffs. They are going to lose a game or 2 that they really shouldn't.
  20. Agree...just think he could be a little more affective with some better leverage.
  21. Indeed. Perhaps he needs to get lower though when he meets the linemen in the hole so he at least clogs the lane more. He does get pushed back a bit too much. Feels like a technique issue a bit See that second run there. Edmunds needs to not take on the lineman standing up. Get down low and even falling sometimes clogs the hole rather than getting pushed backwards because you are standing too upright when engaged.
