The ravens first offensive play from scrimmage will be...
Hebert19 replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. Looking for brown and tre has him locked. -
Feels like this game is going to come down to forcing a turnover or a 4th down stop...special teams play etc. Just 1 man making a play to change the game. I can't tell you how many times when we are on D I am yelling at the TV someone just needs to step up and make a play. So to me I think that play comes on D... I'm going with Ed Oliver...breaks thru immediately and gets a strip sack on Lamar and its completely turns the game in our favor. He's due.

I wouldn't want him on a ton of snaps either. I'd want him to come out and run go routes 5 to 10 times. They need to respect his speed and big play ability. Throw brown on other side and the middle should be wide open...and their LB are a weakness.

Do we play 3 LB sets vs the ravens or stick with nickel?
Hebert19 replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. With Lee active in am ideal world. -
How about Bass? He's settling in...

Bump. -
So. Will he be active this week. Would be good to have 1 more speedster to impact their ability to man up.
-
And check downs.

The Lamar Jackson effect, will it make a difference?
Hebert19 replied to Billzgobowlin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. And we will throw tre on brown and dare him to throw some of those high lofters his way. There were 2 passes last week where I was thinking Tre picks that. -
Should we start receiving the kick off of we win the toss?

Against a team like ravens. Yes. Take the ball and try and play with a lead to prevent them from doing what they do. -
Richard Sherman: Josh Allen reminds me of Aaron Rodgers
Hebert19 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think anyone is saying that. People always do this. Athletically josh is a freak and more gifted than Rodgers. Doesn't mean he's better. Eric lindros was an athletic freak. Not better than Gretzky. -
Fights in the stands during Wild Card Game? WTF?

That one poor bastard got his bell rung...almost KOd IQ test maybe. -

This. He loves to elaborate where others don't. Takes the time to explain football or life. -

I gotta bump this. For those who haven't listened to his interview today its a must listen. His answers around MLK day and why he thinks it's a good fit in buffalo are next level. Such a smart dude...well spoken and transparent. Lets gooooo! -
Roberts inactive this week is my prediction...
Hebert19 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Essh. Maybe I should have said bold prediction. Maybe it happens. Maybe it doesn't. But I don't think we would see a drop off in production without him in there for a game and having a player that actually plays offense gives us other ways to beat the blitz. -
1. Love roberts and think he is fantastic at his craft...but he has also made some bonehead decisions the last few weeks that cost us some field position. 2. Mckenzie showed he can handle punt returns and may actually be more dynamic there. 3. Tucker can and will boom it into endzone as much as he can with roberts out there so kick returns aren't a huge dynamic this game. 4. Allows us to activate Stills. Stills Beasley Diggs Davis and Brown sounds like a nightmare to cover and may take away their desire to blitz. 3 of those guys can score in a second in single coverage and Beasley and Davis are great outlets. We need weapons here and dressing Stills helps with that even if he just runs go routes 10 or 15 times to make them respect that opposite Brown.

This. Yeldon is proven here and is a very good receiver. Watch some of his old highlights. He is great at chipping then getting ready to catch the pass and his patience when he runs might be exactly what we need. Blitz pick up requirement this week and the need for a quick target makes me want to see a lot of yeldon...even over motor.

Which HC Job, If Any, Does Brian Daboll Get?
Hebert19 replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think if he does not get chargers job he stays. Thats the best fit. -
Depth and experience. Freeman was on Atlanta for superbowl run and played well both receiving and running.
