If he's not back I need to see Ed out there 60 to 70 percent of snaps. He's been the best lineman by far and him playing 40 something percent is ridiculous
-
This please!!
-
Questions to ask. Is he better than who we have today. Yes - then sign No - then pass Hard question. Is he better. He has been. 2x 1000 yard rusher and a 4.6 career average. Is he right now...no idea as he's been banged up.

We need to run the ball this week. Philly destroyed them with the run...and QB runs.
-
Agree. But I recall last year 1 game and the year before a couple games where he started calling plays and we were a ton more aggressive. Ed played well. He was only one disruptive at all on that line. He also needs someone not named butler or Phillips out there with him. He blew thru the line a couple times on runs and RB just made him miss. He will get those at some point.

So we can assume no star or brown??? Edmunds back will help but someone will need to step up or Ingram will look like taylor or Henry.
-
Figured after yesterday this could use a revisit.
-
Ya. He's frustrated as hell with the Oline. He was yelling as he left the first in the first half of the jets game too. How the ***** was the first part of his sentence.

Feels like it's that time again. Remember at some point in each of the last 2 seasons McDermott started calling plays and digging in more on D. I can see that happening for Pats game with 10 days rest.

It's more that our style has to align. Right now it doesn't.

Josh is fine in bad weather but we can't run the ball and receivers drop the ball...so we get one dimensional in bad weather which is a recipe for disaster.

So this week might be a catalyst to see what we do next as am organization. We have a soft team...I think everyone agrees there and it showed yesterday. Soft as in undersized, and just not cut out for hard nosed football...so with this roster are we better in a dome? Good news is we get to see in 3 days. What if we go out and look like our old selves Thursday and throw it all over the field. 1 game after getting embarrassed and playing sloppy in the elements... So my question is like the chicken or egg debate. Do we: 1. Continue to build the greatest show on turf roster that is more speed focused than power...and cave on building a dome? 2. Gut the roster and bring in some big bodies that can bully people come December and Jan in the elements of western New York. I honestly think this needs to be talked about when considering a new stadium. What is the personality that we want to build and that is the stadium direction. As of now...our roster is more dome and less western New York.

Josh Allen: Bills aren’t executing and that starts with me

Agree. But you can if you hit on draft picks which is likely the bigger issue. -
No chance.

1. Turnovers have made us look better than we are. 2. Without the turnovers the offense would be middle of the pack. 3. Turnovers have come against bad teams where we blow them out thus making the D numbers look better than they are. 4. Can't beat good teams. Let's hope we can avoid their reality check at the end of this year or next. We have josh and they don't which can keep us going but in general Turnovers can't be the only way you win games. Force punts and score TDs on long drives.

Many on this board deserve a pat on the back

It's time to move in from Hughes and Addison too. Love Jerry but the young guys need snaps to make sure they are the future. -

Did you see the holes the colts had in the run game. Man I would love to see that... Their oline > ours by 10x. And josh knows that. -
Let me go thru the lineup and you make your own call. QB - great depth. Maybe top in league WR - great depth. Top 5 or so in league. That's where the good ends. Oline - starting 5 likely wouldn't start on most teams outside Moarse. 0 depth. TE - 0 depth Dline - lots of depth but starting 5 is meh at best. Star goes down they suck. Linebacker - 0 depth. Klein as 3rd is decent but behind that nothing. Safety - good starters. Behind that. Meh Corners - 0 depth. 2 good starters 1 serviceable. Nada beyond that. We have not much depth unfortunately. Every injury hurts but when you take star Edmunds and brown out its a big problem because their back ups aren't close.

What are your expectations for the rest of the season?
Hebert19 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. 10-7 or 11-6. The latter we host a game former we on road all playoffs -
I think the dline and running back rotation are both killing us. No players get any rhythm or game flow as a result... Start Singletary and he gets 1st and second down...if short yardage bring in moss if longer bring in breida. On D. Go big on first and second and then bring in pass rushers. You know. Basically what every other team does.

Eek into the playoffs and hope to get lucky since there isn't a dominant team. -
Maybe it's our turn.
-
Yup. Get healthy and hot at right time and you can win.

It's sad but true.
